Time Mage on the battlefield

In this challenge I used the Time Mage card that belongs to the life deck, it is an excellent choice for battles because it has the Slow ability that makes my opponent's cards lose 1 speed and the Rust ability that makes them lose 2 shield , plus its mana cost is relatively low so it's the type of card you won't have much trouble putting into your battles.

In the table above you can see more about the card, its mana cost is 4 and at the initial level (1) its attack is very low and it has the ability Slow and this is its level that I used for the battle, but at higher levels it becomes incredibly stronger.

In battle, Time Mage use will only be to deal damage and slow my opponent down, moreover if it is defeated then the effect of the Slow ability is lost and my opponent's cards regain the speed they had lost, now I will talk about the cards I used to accompany the Time Mage in battle.

The first card was the summoner, which for this battle is Drake of Arnak, which I find quite useful since it grants +1 shield to all my cards on the field, so it's a great defense against melee and ranged cards.

The second card was the Tank of battle which is Chaos Knight which is a very useful card in defense as it has the ability Shield which reduces the damage received from melee and ranged attacks.

The third card is Luminous Eagle which is a melee card that can attack from second position and has the ability Flying which increases its chances of dodging melee and ranged attacks from cards that don't have that ability.

The fourth card is the Gargoya Scrapper which is a melee card but it cannot attack from that position so it will only be useful when it is in the first position.

The fifth card is the Time Mage which as I mentioned before will be useful in dealing damage and slowing down my opponent's cards.

The sixth card is Stitch Leech which is a melee card with the ability Sneak that allows you to attack the opposing card positioned in the last position.

The seventh and final card is Celestial Harpy which is a melee card with the ability Opportunity that makes it attack the lowest health card and the ability Flying.

BATTLE LINK

In this battle my opponent used a summoner that increases the magic attack of his cards and as my first position card is weak against cards of this type so it is a big disadvantage for me, but I have cards that attack my opponent's back row and this will be very useful in battle.

In the first round my Chaos Knight tank card was defeated just as I had predicted but I managed to defeat one of the cards with my opponent's magic attack so this will decrease the chances that my next cards will be defeated easily since the shield that my summoner grant is only useful against melee and ranged cards.

In the second round another one of my opponent's cards was defeated but the big problem for this battle is his Goblin Psychic card that heals your card in the first position, but in the next round it will be targeted by my cards Celestial Harpy and Stitch Leech making the battle easier.

In the third round the Psychic Goblin was finally defeated so my opponent's Unicorn Mustang card no longer receives healing and that makes it much easier to defeat.

In the fourth round my Luminous Eagle manages to dodge Unicorn Mustang's attack and only 1 life left for him to be defeated.

In the fifth round the Unicorn Mustang is defeated and the battle comes to an end.

In this battle I have to admit that Time Mage didn't stand out much because most of my opponent's cards had only 1 speed so its Slow ability wasn't very useful, in addition Unicorn Mustang has the Void ability that reduces damage received from magic attacks which makes Time Mage even less useful as it didn't deal damage to him, but it slowed down Unicorn Mustang causing some of my cards to attack first and even though it wasn't much it helped in the battle, but still yes it is an amazing card and i hope to use it at higher levels in the future because it looks even more powerful.
