To Future and Current Parents: Hitting is not a resolve to Discipline!

Yo, Hivers! I'm Kei as in 🔑 and I am here to convince and spread awareness to future parents why they SHOULD NOT resolve to hitting their children as a way of disciplining them.

Violence does not make children understand what they have done wrong.

Therefore, I will be discussing in the video 3 main reasons why parents shouldn’t hit their children as a disciplinary measure.

  1. Hitting your children may temporarily stop their bad behavior, but it will cause them trauma.
  2. Children may take hitting as a correct way of expressing anger and disappointment by doing it when expressing themselves.
  3. Hitting your children may stain your parent-child relationship by having a huge distance between your bonds.

Aside from those reasons, I will also be discussing in the video an alternative way of disciplining your child.

I hope that after you have watched the video, I have convinced you in some ways and spread awareness why parents SHOULD NOT resolve to hitting their children as a disciplinary measure.

See ya'll on my next blog and have a great day ahead!

This is an important topic and I am grateful that you bring awareness to it. However, using the #SPT tag is for Splinterlands content only. Please be aware of that next time.

Thank you for this! As a new parent, and coming from a generation where more physical methods are used to discipline children, it's very important that my generation has to learn how to be the transitional generation in finding more efficient and effective ways in disciplining children. Great job!
