Brawl update #2: Our guild got the first place!
Hey everyone! Welcome to my second guild brawl report. It took quite some time in between my two brawl reports as I skipped joining the brawl prior to this one. I hope you all enjoy this brawl report!
Overall guild performance
Our guild did an amazing job in this brawl. We took the first place with a record of 51 wins and 22 losses. From this performance, we got x21 CROWNS, and each participating member got 808 Merits! I have to say that this was an amazing performance from our guild, especially given the fact that this brawl happened towards the end of season, where everyone is so busy with their season-end grind.
Sticking to my fray: Novice League with Alpha/Beta edition
As I mentioned in my previous guild brawl report, I usually prefer joining the Alpha/Beta Novice League fray. The main reason for this is the simplicity of the matches, and I prefer having less cards to play with. Additionally, I purchased a Rare Skin Set about a week ago. This now gives me additional motivation to join the Alpha/Beta fray, because this will give me the chance to flex my newly purchased Splinterstorm skins.
Mozzie's performance and battles highlight
For this brawl, I managed to earn 6 wins (1 fleeing opponent included), which resulted to an additional 18 points for our guild. While I won more games than I lost, there were still some notable areas for improvement from my end in this brawl. These are the matches where it felt like I should not have played Selenia Sky while I was watching the replays. When I was drafting my teams with Selenia, I was not able to consider that my ranged monsters won't be able to attack anymore once it has moved up front. Got enough Merits to buy a Gladius case
After this brawl, I now have enough Merits to buy a Gladius Case from the Guild Store. We just now have to level up our Guild Store to make it accessible to all members. I'm getting excited to open my first Gladius Case.
I hope I get some good pulls when I get the chance to buy this case.

Among these seven battles, my favorite match is Battle #4. As much as I hate losing, I still had fun watching the replay because I love seeing people win because of missed attacks. If you haven't watched the replay for Battle #4, I highly suggest that you should watch it!
In Battle #4, my enemy's Animated Corpse died in the early part of second round, leaving their Dark Enchantress up front. During this time, all of my monsters were still alive, with Pit Ogre barely standing at 2 health. After doing some quick math, it would have been an almost sure win for me given that Cocatrice and Fire Demon can deal a total of 4 damage in a single round. Oh boy, I was wrong.
That 25% miss chance from Flying of Dark Enchantress played a huge role in this match. My Fire Demon missed a game-winning attack vs. Dark Enchantress, giving Dark Enchantress the chance to kill Cocatrice. After that happened, the match is already over. There is nothing that Fire Demon can do anymore up front.
