Another Method of Kidnapping And How To Talk Your Way Out || Hive Learners Week 109 Prompt 1

Good day dear Hive Learners friends. It's a new month and a new beginning for us all to thrive in our different endeavours. Today, the topic we would be considering is the issue of kidnapping and talking oneself out of the den of these criminal elements. Fortunately for me, I have not been kidnapped before and I do not pray to have experience of kidnap but there is a syndicate around Lagos, probably around Nigeria major cities too that I have been robbing people of their valuables and dropping them off in the aftermath.

Some cab drivers in conjunction with one chance operators have invaded our city in recent times. You can notice them as their method of hypnotizing their victims are similar.

My friend reported that his phone and other valuables were taken from him. He boarded a Sienna can from CMS to the Lekki area where he lives but along the way, the bus had four passengers before he joined. Not long after they boarded, a conversation began.

The first passenger to speak said that the young man sitting behind the driver took his boss' bag of money, filled with hard currency and that they were driving to the police station to report the case. Whereas, the young man in question has begged that everyone in the bus should share the money equally.
Another passenger suggested that they should head toward a remote place where no one or passersby will not suspect that they were carrying such huge cash. He suggested further that everyone in the bus would have to go along with the plan so that it would not be exposed before the money is shared.
Immediately that was suggested, the young man who was posing as the one who carted the bag of money from his bus accepted.
At once, my friend got to know that this was the syndicate that people who have encountered spoke about. He knew that he was in danger. He thought of a way out and came up with speaking in a way that was totally different from the topic of discussion. The opportunity came when a question was thrown at him.

Oga, won't you say something or are you not interested in sharing the money.

According to my friend, he said he laughed hysterically.

Hahahaha!!!! I will invite the Queen of the coast.

The driver was taken aback hen he heard the word "Queen of the Coast".

Queen of the Coast? Wetin concerned the queen of the coast with sharing dollars.

He saw the countenance of the driver as fear as set in. He must have felt that my friend was kind of highly possessed or connected with some spiritual cult. He went further.

The man sitting right behind him exclaimed.

The team of kidnappers started showing signs of fright. This gave my friend more leverage to take them further in dark pronouncement.

Upon hearing this, the driver pulled over after the Lekki toll gate and asked him.to get out of the car but rather my friend laughed again.

If you dare lay your dirty hands on me, you are gone.

They retreated on second thought.

All the phones and money from your other victims this morning, hand them over, NOW!!

The driver, already sweating and hands shaking on the wheel, asked the man sitting next to him to surrender everything before the police get to the vehicle.

When my friend saw that the vehicle may move, he alighted and raised the alarm, before the vehicle could move, it was held up in the building traffic. One of the men jumped off and ran in the opposite direction while the remaining gang members were arrested.

This was how he escaped, talking like a possessed person only to frighten the kidnappers. The police invited him to the police station where he made a statement and the gang of robbers cum kidnappers were charged to your while the fleeing gang member was traced.
