Motivation to me comes in different shapes and phases. At one point in my life, I realise that the only thing that can propel me to achieve the best is when I push myself.

I am the motivation that my inner strength needs to do the extraordinary.

This condition was not born with me. I first had been faced with many disappointments when I was not praised or appreciated for what I did that was great. It was during such a moment that I realised that people may not be able to get the intuition to motivate you, except if they have experienced such situations before.

Recently, I discovered that one of the topics that has to be considered for this term has to be in the field. And having resumed only about a month ago at this new place, I thought it would be impossible to carry out such a huge task. To make matters worse, the school was trying to shy away from their responsibility. That was my major excuse not to seek where the students would visit on an excursion.

When No One Else Is Ready

Right there in my class, I searched the internet to find where I could take the learners to. Fortunately, I found one. I made a call to the reception to find out the requisite which was quite easy.

It was a radio station. I knew that would help the students a lot if they visited the site. The last time they went on an excursion was two years ago. I went to the head of school with my proposal and within twenty-four hours, it was approved.

This was at such a time that my other colleagues told me to forget that agenda, that it was not possible to embark on such a trip when there was barely a week until the second term examination.

The Learners Could Not Believe It

A week to the trip, it was announced to the students during the assembly in the chapel. They were so excited because it was unbelievable. Everyone started to make one arrangement or the other. It was like a dream. A dream came true.
The joy in the faces of the learners gave me inner strength.
Soon, we filed them out onto the school bus as we were about to embark on the trip. It was a trip to the biggest radio house in Africa. MegaLetrics is a conglomeration of four radio stations in one complex.
The radio stations are professional based, each concentrating in one area of life.

You Are Your Best Motivator

You heard me clear. The one who can motivate you to reach maximum success is yourself. There is more to achieve only if we can accept to take responsibility. Many great ideas have died because people one way or the other become dejected and leave their big dreams to shatter.

Perhaps you are out there and your only reason for not moving to the next success point is because you have not been motivated, I tell you for free that you may have to wait till forever. Motivate yourself if you want to record success.

This is what I do. I motivate myself since I discovered that people would only try to tee you down with discouragement. So, encourage yourself and be a great achiever.
