Free Base Cards, Xenith Monk is a Huge Catch

avatar

Welcome again to my blogs, have you been battling your hearts out in Splinterlans, well I have and I've also been picking lots of points along the way. I want to share on a subject that i like from Splinterlands, which is similar to my last post, this one is about Strong Cards and Immediate Counter for each Element.

Understanding Cards & How to Counter

Splinterlands is a Battle game which means the main goal is to battling in games, I want to become like a master in remembering the best counter to go against all elements I meet.
I think Battle History is a very good feature, many times it works for me especially in the modern league.
So, when I see opponents battle history, I look at the individual Monsters and Summorner thinking of direct counter cards. Sometimes, this becomes hard if you don't know about all monster because you can miss a few moves that the enemy monster can take.

One Card, Xenith Monk, is a Good Counter

So for Example, Using free cards when you're starting is good, the counter that is available is sufficient, but you don't win as much.
Still, there are some free cards that are very good for playing, and like I said, Xenith monk is one of them.

Yesterday, I won so many games with this guy, at least I'm winning more than when I don't use him, let me share some reasons why this is happening:

  • This card is very cheap in mana, Just 4, He's able to fit into any Battle

  • This card is strong enough and can last in battle, in whatever position because of 6 health.

  • This card is also fast, I think speed is very important because I meet many teams that decrease my speed by 1

  • This card melee is just 1, But 2 would be too good to be true.

How I use Xenith Monk, in Every Game

If I wanted to use Xenith monk in all games, I can because it costs very less, it's also very easy and tempting to keep using him. But after I discovered that he's a Neutral Card, it's even better because I can combine him with all the Elements.

Water Element: Comine Water Summorner (Kelya Frendul) with Xenith Monk, to Increase his speed. He becomes very fast and because of this I place him in the first place. He can go head-to-head with a fast Monster like Unicorn Mustang, and not miss.

Fire Element: This is the best combination for me, I use Summorner Tarsa with Xenith monk and increase his Health and Melee Attack, I also keep him the the first place. This helps me a lot if there's low mana to use in battle, So Instead of Lava Launcher I use Xenith monk.

Back Counter: Sometimes I place Xenith monk in last position to counter Enemy Monsters targeting it, He helps to protect other monsters in-between that have weak health. Like I said, if I see a Monster in Opponents Battle History like Silent Shavi, I will place Xenith Monk in last over first.

I think Xenith monk is a really powerful using him with all the Monster Elements, except for Earth which I don't use much.
I hope that you can start to use Xenith monk because he's a very good monster and free too, I didn't use him at first until I discovered him at the bottom of the neutral list, that's why I said he's a huge catch!.

Thanks for reading my Blog today, I hope my next is more fun for you, Share any comments about Xenith Monk with me too!.
