Hive is a fantastic platform that offers many benefits to those who are passionate about writing and creating content. It's an excellent option for those looking to get involved in the web3 space, and I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in joining the crypto community.

With its focus on decentralization and community, I believe that Hive has a bright future.
For those just starting out on Hive, the platform can feel a bit overwhelming and confusing. It's not like the familiar social media apps like Facebook or Instagram, and the concepts of blockchain and cryptocurrency can be new and intimidating. But with time and patience, the platform becomes more intuitive and user-friendly.

For many new users, it can take some time to feel comfortable on Hive. The comments section on the introductory post can be a great place to get started, with many users offering advice and support.

But even after that, it can still take some time to find your footing and fully understand the platform.
It's important to acknowledge that getting started on Hive can be challenging, even with guidance.

But with the right tips and some patience, it can become much more manageable. Here are three tips that may be helpful:

Note:It's definitely true that many new users on Hive tend to try and emulate the actions of more established users in an effort to get more attention. But as you said, this can be a recipe for disappointment. Instead of focusing on what others are doing, it's important to focus on creating valuable, engaging content, and building genuine relationships with other users.

  1. Set a goal

A year-long goal, divided into smaller, bite-sized pieces, is a really great idea for anyone using Hive. It helps to provide a clear roadmap for success, and it also makes the process feel more manageable.

When setting these goals, it's important to consider the different areas of Hive (content creation, engagement, networking, etc.), and make sure to set goals that are specific, measurable, and attainable.

It's inevitable that we'll all have days when we lack the motivation to create content, or engage with others on Hive. But having a structured plan and a time frame to work within can help to keep us on track and avoid the feeling of being overwhelmed.

Setting a daily or weekly goal can also help to create a sense of urgency and motivation to get the work done.

Set goals for engagement on other users' posts too. It's not just about the quantity of engagement, but the quality as well. Taking the time to read and respond thoughtfully to posts, rather than leaving common comments, is so important for building meaningful connections on Hive.

  1. Consistency

It's important to understand that success on Hive takes time and effort. It's a long-term journey, not a sprint. Consistency is definitely key, and it's crucial to stay focused on the bigger picture and not get distracted by short-term results.

Passion is an important factor in sticking with Hive, even when the going gets tough. It's not about likes or followers, but about sharing and creating connections.

As a newbie, participate in good engagement on the platform, don't back down or either give up. Indeed consistency is a vital key that has helped many people with high reputation on the hive platform.

Considering when i started hive, I could rеcall posting 2 timеs a day for a wееk with no tangible rеsults. I was vexed and annoyed which lеaded me to being inconsistent for a while—I would post one day and thеn do the next post after weeks or sometimes months. I continued that way unil a friend advised me and i turn a new leave. Evеn if it means making a post pеr day, maintaining consistеncy is key to grow in hive.

  1. Make engagements
Building relationships with others on Hive is so valuable. It's not just about posting and hoping people will find you, but about actively engaging with others and forming connections.

Quality interactions are key. Leaving short, unthoughtful comments won't get you very far. But taking the time to read others' posts and leave meaningful comments shows you're genuinely interested in engaging and building relationships.

It's important to explore all the different ways to participate and earn on Hive, from writing to gaming to investing. Everyone has different strengths and passions, and finding what works best for you is a key part of success on the platform.

Those are the core elements of success on Hive, and on any other social media platform as well. It's important to constantly remind ourselves of those basics, and to keep coming back to them when we feel like we're not making the progress we want to.
