What I Achieved/Learned In 2022

2021 was a great year financially; 2022, on the contrary, was awful. It's the second time I've had a bear season in the crypto market. Unlike in 2018, my cost of acquiring crypto was low, so I only gave back what I earned last year.

It was the wrong decision to purchase an additional Hive at an average cost of 35 cents during the summer months. If I had been more patient, I could have had 50% more Hive. It is essential to experience the events ourselves. I hope to make more accurate decisions in the next bear season.

What important events happened in 2022? I retired from Isbank, where I worked for more than 20 years, and started to receive a salary. Fortunately, crypto is an additional source of income for me. Otherwise, I could have had a lot of financial trouble this bear season.

I started playing Splinterlands. I took Splinterland's playing activity seriously, and by the end of my fourth season, both my accounts were in the champions league. I can achieve a winning percentage of around 50% in the champions league. I bought cards with a large part of my SPS portfolio to eliminate the card rental operation.

The strategic depth required to play Splinterlands amazes me. After nearly three months of intense Splinterlands work, I'm still learning new things about the game. If I had worked so hard for my lessons, I would have ranked in school. :)

In 2022, I made significant progress in my philosophy graduate education. I passed 11 courses in the spring semester. Since I took many classes from the upper-class last year, I have four classes left this year. This month I have been dealing with midterms and homework. I will probably graduate next month. Those curious about life's meaning can reach me on Discord as of February. :)

This year I have published about 200 blog posts on Leo Finance. My crypto knowledge has expanded thanks to my research while preparing the articles. Reading other authors on Leo Finance has also helped my development. Using decentralized applications operating on various blockchains, especially Hive, helped me internalize knowledge about crypto.

Being so involved with the crypto world and finance, I allocated less time to literature. I've only written four sci-fi stories this year. One of the stories was featured in a selection last week and met with the readers. Below are the images of the Turkish science fiction story selections, which have now become traditional. I also contributed to the books published in previous years.

One of the highlights of this year was when my son started college. We didn't expect him to do well, as he continued playing video games during the prep period. The results he obtained in the practice exams could have been better. We were happy he exceeded our expectations and won the Department of Electronics Engineering at Istanbul Technical University.

One of the notable events of this year was related to football. Trabzonspor football team, which I am a fan of, became the champion of the Turkish football league after 36 years. Witnessing this championship shows there is room for miracles.

Conclusion

2022 has been a good year, apart from crypto prices. I will explain my goals and expectations for 2023 in the following post.

I wish 2023 to bring health, happiness, and success to all of us.

Happy new year!

So you contributed in the publishing of those books? That's amazing, I didn't think you'd find literature to be fascinating. Anyways I'm happy for your son? It was quite good that you didn't place too much expectations on him and how he's doing well, this is amazing.
I'm glad for your blogging journey thus far. Over 200 finance post is no mean feat, congratulations to you. It's been a successful year for you.

Thank you. I have contributed to the books by giving one story each free of charge. I find literature fascinating, so much so that I have written ten sci-fi books. Eight of them have been published. I intend to write 365 posts in 2022. One post every day, just like you.

That's is amazing, in reality, I use to teach literature to secondary school students back in the days. I've written over 100 professional poems, yet to be published.

I intend to write 365 posts in 2022. One post every day, just like you.

This is going to be fascinating, I intend to check if by the end of the year, goodluck with it

You really had a run down of what the year was with you, thank God for the successes counted and the challenges too, they are for a reason though it's left for you to have a well meaning to them.

Am not only happy for you on the counted successes you had but also for the Successes you had that you didn't take to mean much.

It's really been a tough year for me too but I keep on pushing, keeping my head up, everything is gonna make more sense one day.

That might be so ey, but then again what if it climbed all the way to 45 again after that or even 65...and I doubt any of us thought that it would drop below even 30 cents😂 and low and behold look what happaned.. Although im sure that 2023 will be a great year for hive.
