I remember watching the anime many years ago without any kind of expectations, but it turned out that later I couldn't stop watching it, it's one of the funniest anime I've ever seen, I loved it.

I'm glad you enjoyed it.
It hasn't held up to modern times as well due to the subject matter at times.
But it's still an amazingly good series
