Consider this a guide for ≤ Gold league players

Sacred LLama Mage... Yes it is a nightmare when you see your opponent has one. The +2 health, Cleanse, and Last Stand are so strong for many types of rulesets and makes the monsters even monstrous. This is what I saw from my opponent's recent battles and I have tried many methods to counter the Llama and I would say I'm 20% successful.

As you all might have known from previous posts, I used only level 1 cards except for fire splinter where I won a Gold Foil Tarsa from Wrestling Organization Online. Anyway, I deployed my level 1 life splinter cards to fight the Llama and here goes...

After viewing the opponent's recent battles, I saw he had only a worthy summoner - Sacred Llama Mage. I then proceeded to think of the different ways to counter. Since it was a 20 mana battle, the summoner already cost him 7. He ought to put in a strong monster which he chose Grund (10 mana) in the previous battle. With only 3 mana left, I supposed he could only put more fodders to deal as much damage as he could before the last stand monster.

Ruleset: Target Practice & Lost Magic | 20 🔮

This is one of my favourite lineups for life. The divine shield and sneak strategy works very well in low to mid mana battles.

  • Lorna Shine provides divine shield to all friendly monsters which helps protect the feeble small monsters I used for sneaks.
  • Soul Fiend as a fodder, especially it's a 0 mana monster. Basically a free hit!
  • Silvershield Knight to inspire all friendly monsters to +1 melee damage. This makes sneaking the backlines more successful.
  • Stitch Leech sneaks and deals higher melee damage with 3 mana cost.
  • Celestial Harpy is a cheap 2 mana monster that has Opportunity and Flying. Another melee monster that can hit hard.
  • Feral Spirit with the sneak and high speed.
  • Uraeus with the sneak and more importantly, 1 armor to protect against sneak attacks too.

All melee team with inspire and 3 monsters focusing damage to the opponent's last position. A super strong lineup!

By Round 3, the opponent's ideal last stand was already wiped out and left with his fodders. Sorry but not sorry! 🤭

Between Halfling Alchemist and Creeping Ooze, who's gonna take the honour of Last Stand?...

And it's Creepy Slime! Creeping Ooze Last Stand, so intimidating. Let's finish the job here. 😄
