I don't play the Magi of Chaos that often since it doesn't have any ability until it reaches level 5. Most of my summoners aren't even able to use level 5 epic cards so there's very little incentive to buy more copies of this card. I decided to rent a level 3 Magi in order to maximize my chances of getting a win to share on this challenge.

Stats wise the Magi of Chaos is quite good, with 3 magic damage and a decent amount of health points. Low speed but since it uses magic it isn't that important to have a high speed.
The Oppress ability is great but unfortunately, it only comes into play from level 5 onwards. In my opinion, there are better cards with the same mana cost.

Back to Basics - Since it doesn't have any ability in the first 4 levels it has nothing to lose in this ruleset while still having pretty decent stats.

Reverse Speed - The low-speed stat can come in very handy making sure it can knock out enemies faster. It can also help dodge incoming attacks from faster adversaries.

Whenever I see keep your distance I always go with Void and reflect to try to counter enemy magic damage dealers. With such a high mana cap I decided to bring the heaviest hitters and someone with the oppress ability to knock out any nonattacking tanks that might show up. Well, my strategy was solid, what I wasn't expecting has a level 3 Yodin with a legendary stacked deck.

Round 1

Quickly. lost my main tank but managed to reflect a good amount of damage. When it was my turn to attack my team managed to hit once and then miss 5 times in a row... These absolutely insane speed strategies are so frustrating.

Round 2

On the second round, two more allies fall to enemy fire and then I managed to hit his tank twice. The return fire ability was able to knock out my only ranged attack leaving me with only two more cards.

Round 3

At this point there is no hope left, it's just a matter of time. This match was ridiculous, I cannot understand what the hell is a player with a level 3 yodin doing in gold II. He should be playing in high diamond but instead, here he is dunking on players with a level 5 rare summoner. On top of the legendary summoner, he is also playing a LOT of legendary cards...

I usually try to share a winning game but I had to write about this annoying trend of having insanely high-level cards playing in low gold for no apparent reason. Right after this match, I went up against a level 8 gold Delwyn Dragonscale with a stacked deck. I got kind of annoyed and closed the game.
