My crypto earnings week 43 - CUB Moons and my gambling mistakes

Weekly earnings 43.png

Great news from LeoFinance yesterday with the announcement of the PolyCUB airdrop. We're finally seeing the price of cub going back up!
PolyCUB seems like a very interesting project and I will be making a post about it later this week.

I've made a big mistake that I've been able to avoid for the last couple of years. I've lost quite a lot of bitcoin gambling online and decided to stay away from it forever (Excluding sports betting).
Friday night I decided to open Betfury and play some hands of blackjack and I got completely wiped out in a matter of 20 minutes. That's why my faucets income is negative for this week. I've lost everything I made from my daily Betfury dividends for the last month.

It's just a small setback that was easily offset by the rest of my income sources.

Faucets: -$70.39

Hive: $129.74

Splinterlands Vouchers keep getting turned into Hive and later sold to finance some new projects that I'm testing out.
I finally have all my Hive power in my own account and will be opting for 100% Hive Power rewards for all my posts if possible. I have no interest in holding HBD, not even with the 10% APY.

  • Hive: $127.42
  • LEO: $0.24
  • POB: $0.79
  • SPT: $0.55
  • CTP: $0.74

Play to Earn: $387.95

I keep staking most of my SPS every single Monday and intend on doing so until the end of the airdrop.

Splinterlands: $359.39
  • DEC: $113.11
  • SPS Airdrop: $219.46
  • SPS Staking: $26.82
Axie: $28.56

DeFi & CeFi: $38.46

I'm going to stop using Autofarm, there's no point in using the platform alongside CubDefi. It is way simpler and more profitable to use only Cub. Plus I need the cake that I was staking there to try out the new pancake swap IFO!

Total: $485.75

I have a new project to add to my weekly earnings next week! It's not the most interesting game ever but it has been very profitable so far. Not to mention that the token grew over 100% since I bought into the game!
Good for short-term gains but I don't see a big future for the game.

Yea it's quite easy to lose money when gambling. As usual the house has the edge so the more you bet, the more likely you are to lose the money eventually. The only benefit in places in like Betfury is that you get some of their tokens and will get back some dividends eventually.

Unfortunately, live blackjack doesn't pay out any tokens for gambling like the other methods do 😅

Ufff, man! You know? I have a similar story with bets. When the BTC faucets were still new and I collected a thousand satoshis per hour; I thought to myself, "I could bet these that I won and gain much more". It was like roulette, and I first got some but at the end I lost them all. Although, I lost almost 60 thousand satoshis, and many people would shrug and said "oh that's nothing" For me, that was the wake up call I needed. Those satoshis would be worth around $35 USD of today's money! I don't feel frustrated by it, anymore. But that was for me the lesson I needed to learn to stay away from bets forever. Thank you for sharing your story and good luck with your future earnings!

That remembers me of a similar story, I lost this a couple of years ago gambling too. I was worth around $20 so I wasn't that mad about it...
Today it is over $360 😅

I made a lot more claiming and referring people than I lost on all of these websites so I can't complain that much.

Thank you for sharing, I agree with you getting frustrated doesn't help. Just accepted my losses and learn a valuable lesson.
