Djinn Inferni - The Giant Killer

This week's battle challenge is with Djinn Inferni who has the the giant killer ability! This ability allows him to do double damage to targets that cost 10 or more mana. I still haven't mastered the use of the magic attack with the fire splinter, so I am very happy to do this battle challenge.


Djinn Inferni is an epic monster that has the powerful giant killer ability. I have the gold foil level 2 which gives a 3 attack that can be doubled to 6 if it is a giant. As it is a magic attack, that can be pretty deadly. There aren't too many monsters with the giant killer attack ability.


Very desirable is the stun ability at level 5 though, this could really disable your enemy's tank and give you a really good edge.


My Team

This is a high-level mana battle and I have chosen powerful Tarsa as Summoner who will give some extra teeth to my melee attack plus some extra health.

ROUND 1 - Grum Flameblade vs. Agor Longtail

My enemy has gone for the dragon summoner Quix the Devious, this has allowed him to bolster the death splinter with some powerful dragons. It seems as though he was expecting a ranged attack and I have managed to fool him by going for the fire splinter.

The enemy has a very powerful attack with Agor Longtail, who has flying, taunt and void armor. It will take a lot to take him down.

First Djinn Inferni with the giant killer ability removes his armor, Ureaus delivers some poison and then Grum Flameblade delivers the knock-out punch with his giant killer ability too.




ROUND 2 & 3

In round 2, with his low health, our man of the moment Djinn Inferni falls, followed by Tenyii Stryker in round 3.


Without their tank, the enemy has completely collapsed and has just one monster left standing.





ROUND 4

Magi Necrosi even with his strong magic attack, doesn't stand a chance against the onslaught. The battle is over far quicker than I had expected, but that is the power of the giant killer ability.



Summary:

The impact of monsters with the giant killer ability cannot be underestimated. Djinn Inferni was able to take out the complete shield of their tank in one go. Grum Flameblade then had an amazing knockout 10 attack!!! Who can survive that?!?


Something to bear in mind with Djinn Inferni is how to protect him with his low health score. This is always then a hesitation for me to use magic attack with the fire splinter.

It was good to see that you didn't have any range monsters, if not you'll have lost one attack to that dragon summoner, I think it's an overall good game.

I really love Sloan, but he has many weaknesses like Quix. lol

I have a level 2 Sloan, I think it comes through depending on the ruleset.

It's nice to see the Giant Killer ability in full-effect, that's a great victory using that card especially as you've got some very under-levelled cards compared to yer opponent, good job!

While the Epic Fire Monster Djinn Inferni can deal a devastating 6 Magic damage to the target that costs 10 or more Mana to summon, its low Health makes it vulnerable to opponent Monsters with the Snipe or Opportunity Ability (especially because it is the only non-Melee Monster in your team). 🤔 It would be much better if you could protect it with another Monster which either has a lot of Health (better with the Void or Shield Ability) or the Taunt Ability. 🤓 !LOLZ

I know of only the Legendary Monster Magnor in the Fire Splinter though worth about $19 right now. 🤯 The Neutral Splinter has the Legendary Monster Coeurl Lurker which has the Taunt Ability worth about $24, while the Dragon Splinter has the Legendary Monster Agor Longtail worth about $18. 💸😅
