Gold seems to be the toughest league to hold onto. Most people have the main cards and getting a good win rate has been very hard.

Yes I thought the same thing myself. Without the Untamed cards, the Modern Format has become much more balanced than in the past.
Perhaps shifting the balance will be the airdrop cards if they are as strong as some Untamed cards have been in the past
