Splinterlands - Season 113 Highlights

Hello Splinterfans!

We come to the end of another season and it has been another exciting roller coaster ride. Not only that, there are other developments in the game that are happening.

First of all the burning event for the 5 year anniversary has ended. There were some amazing prizes given out. I would have been happy with some packs, land and of course anyone who won a Runi is very lucky!

Next up we are still waiting for confirmation from the team for the implimentation of SPS staking and bots being banned from modern. These are some quite big changes and I am looking forward to the release.

In the meantime, we have had the release of Guild Power which means people can build their own Guild Power now and take it with them if they switch guilds. So far, it doesn't make too much difference to me though.

In my tier 2 guild, we have had some great results during this season and I have switched to playing gold level which is a nice change from silver level previously.

This season I have bought a few beta summoners for my alt account and also bought a max level Djinn Muirat who is very handy for the death splinter. I also upgraded my Cursed Windeku so that now my death deck will pack more of a punch.

Not only that, I upgraded my Forgotten One from the fire splinter and bought a max level Spirit Hoarder. These additions should help me get those few extra wins.

This season I managed to get to Gold I in in modern but forgot about wild til the very last day and then managed to just get back into Gold III. Wild is so tought to play these days as you can see from my win/loss ratio. Even in modern, I can't get a better than 50/50 win ratio. The days of getting easily upto Diamond III are long ago, it is a real battle out there right now.

My End of Season chests were pretty decent with the best thing getting the Kulu Mastermind who I have been seeking for a long time! This legendary is a nice boost to my water deck. Sadly I didn't get any Chaos Legion packs and not so much SPS, therefore the monetary value is quite low.

My full season rewards were pretty great card-wise. Lots of gold foils and of course my legendary. Sadly I only got 1 Chaos Legion pack instead of 4 like last season. I did get a pretty good haul of SPS, but it doesn't make up for the loss of chaos legion packs.

End of Season rewards were pretty great for MacGuiver because I pulled a chaos legion pack which hasn't been the case for a couple of seasons. Overall, the card haul was pretty good as last time.

The overall season rewards were pretty good with a decent haul of cards, the SPS was much lower than last season, but the chaos legion pack made up for that.

My rental income that increased last season has this season fallen back to previous levels and was 800 DEC less. The renting game does not pay at the current time.

My potential daily rental income is at 740 DEC, which is 150 less than last time and I am actually earning only 100 DEC.

I have increased my SPS stake to 100,993.

My SPS rewards dropped compared to last season. The season was shorter so is probably the reason, but ranked rewards were 50% lower.

Finally, I have decided to look at getting a Runi and have put a bid on the Opensea market at 0,22 WETH. This was the highest bid by far when I entered it. Hopefully I might be lucky and I pick one up during the coming season.
