Splinterlands - Season 122 Highlights
Hello Splinterfans!
Season 122 has come to an end and we are getting closer to the end of the Rebellion presale and waiting for the first rotation out of modern.
This season I did make it as high as Silver I, but ended up falling back to Silver II. The algo was really punishing me this time!
Since my last update, I have bought a level 6 Bortus and a bunch of beta cards for my alt. Bortus is coming in handy for those magic only rulesets particularly and giving me lots of new options for my water deck.
My End of Season chests were pretty bad compared to last season. Plenty of cards including 2 legendaries Sorriel the Bale which was really good, but hardly any SPS and no packs.
I now have Sorriel at level 3 which is pretty cool. This has given him the rust ability and will be a good boost to my fire deck.
My full season rewards were pretty decent card wise with some gold foils and legendaries, but the SPS was lower and no packs this season. I think there won't be any packs as rewards anymore which is a shame.
My staked SPS has increased to 105511(105170).
My SPS rewards were about 50% lower than last season and that was noticeable on my total SPS haul.
It has been a pretty tough season again and I hope to get back into Gold again this season and look to strengthen my deck.

My EOS wasn't spectacular either, even with diamond chests. I stay in gold until the last day and advance into diamond just to earn the diamond chests for the next EOS.
Getting Sorriel to level 3 is pretty dang good, and you picked up four gold copies of the new water summoner (can never remember her name.) Not too bad a haul!
Bortus and the alpha/beta cards will really help out, they really make things easier in wild. If you can afford Alric he's great too but expensive. Congrats, you're making good headway!

Thanks, losing packs in the rewards really lowers the $ value, but also my sps took a hit as I played less modern this season. Hopefully things will improve this time.
I hope there will be more untamed bargains to grab on the market soon too.
I do too on the untamed deals... Losing packs was a loss for sure, maybe we should have had them hang onto Riftwatchers packs for rewards too.

I think I got one legendary card at the end of this season and everything else was pretty much crap. At this point I am mostly focused on getting cards. I don't care too much about SPS, merits, or packs.
Yeah, I am pretty happy with a good card haul, but more SPS would also be good.
I get enough SPS from my staking, that I don't really need more of it at the end of each season.
Yeah I also use the LP which gives a nice haul.
