Splinterlands - Season 125 Highlights - Battling in Silver
Hello Splinterfans!
Season 125 has ended and I have been trying to grind my way back to gold but it has proven impossible without some of the rebellion meta cards. I just haven't been able to crack silver I, depsite intensively trying all week!
To try and help things along, I will try and rent some rebellion cards to help me get back to Gold I and out of Silver for good!! It has been a crazy slog with just back and forward and no upwards progress. The grind is real.
You can see my win ration was les than 50% which I am not sure if the algo was misfiring for me there.. My rating was nearly 200 points lower than last season and my longest winning streak also 6 wins lower.. it was a really tough grind in silver despite my deck upgrades last season.

One of my last battles of the season
Often I can win battles but when the new rebellion meta cards are in training non-attack cards to attack with magic, it then was not beatable. Also, I didn't seem to face any weaker opponents after losing streaks to help level up the win/loss ratio as you might expect normally.
My end of season results were again much better in $ terms, but no legendaries appearing.
However, my full season results were much better with a decent haul of cards but I think I got less cards than last season and no legendaries. The bump in rewards seems to be much because of better SPS rewards which is good. Plus the SPS has been going up in value which is reflected in the higher $ value!
My staked SPS has increased to 106 459(106 000). My overall SPS income was much improved compared to last season. I hope once I am back in gold for good, this should also improve with higher rewards in gold than silver.
That is the last season of 2023 and we start a new year and the new season rolls into 2024. It has been a great year in Splinterlands and I am looking forward to an exciting 2024 and all that it may bring!
