Splinterlands - Season 127 Highlights - Reaching Silver II

Season 127 has ended and it was a pretty bad season where I couldnt break into Gold at all in modern. I will need to buy the new meta in order to beat the competition.
Even when waiting til near the end of the season, I didn't get any easier opponents with the algorythm and still couldn't reach gold which seems crazy when my wild deck can quite easily.
I am a little disappointed and am wondering what I can do first to reach it this season.
My win ratio is 0.62 which is really crazy low and I think the algo must be broken or something. Anything above 1 would be normal and healthy.
My end of season results were half as good as last season SPS wise and this was compensated by pulling a legendary though.
My full season rewards were much lower than last season both SPS wise and cards, but it is to be expected with my terrible win rate and not getting out of silver.
My staked SPS has decreased to 75 577(80 215). I have moved some SPS to the LP again and will see if that gives some good returns. I will keep my current SPS level as this will give me some air drop rewards for the new COLONY token which is coming soon.
My SPS earnings were up slightly compared to last season, this is dispite my ranked rewards tanking. I got a boost from the liquidity rewards which helped things along. The SPS token seems to be going back down again with the market and hopefully we will see a new trend going back up soon.

I used to play in gold, I can't get past Silver 2 Modern in the last three seasons, I've been playing since before CL, I have a good gold deck , gladiators and SB cards, but nope!, no dice.
Getting a little frustrated to say the least, I want to play with my cards at gold level, I recently got Iziar to the level where she has martyr and I'm itching to try it out.

It is really frustrating,.the algo was bad to me for sure. The only thing is to buy or rent the current new meta, but I'm used to the way I play. Lol
I tried some games for fun after reading your post about diesel pool. :) Looking at the chart it looks like we are about to make a higher low hopefully.. Is it like 40x to the ATH and what price do you think it will see this cycle?
A higher low is a good sign. I'm not too sure about price predictions or where it could go. But I do have lots of Hopium we can see a good number! 😅
Nice I were thinking of accumulating this hopefully higher low in the making the next weeks, and just compound pool/stake rewards for this cycle as I think it should do good too. I think easily a 5x 😃
That looks reasonable to me, once the NGU starts, it will get some momento I'm sure! Not long til the alt season starts for real.

That is the question! LOL There are a couple of legendaries and rebellion cards giving an edge. Time to level up!

Have you finished last season in Champion League?
I was in Gold II at the end. I got a few $1.5USD in total for my rewards.

My season rewards were pretty crappy too. I got maybe 200 chests between my three accounts, but nothing great in any of them.
Thats a shame. Hopefully next season picks up.
Yeah, I hope so too. I was able to get into Diamond league with my one account, so that alone should give me a bit of a boost.
gold is rough i barely broke my way out towards the last few days lol. its the hardest league i think at the moment

Lower league rewards I think mostly.
My season's reward weren't good as well, they were mediocre, no legendaries. I think modern is getting tougher. Players are trooping to modern. Hope this season is better for you.
I think Gold is probably the most competitive right now as it is the sweet spot for rewards and everyone has caught on. I hope you get some better rewards next season too.
Nice EOS, too bad it wasn't a gold legendary pull! I have a couple accounts I play with and my secondary pulls gold legendary cards all the time, on my main account in over three years I've pulled one. Oh well! Nice stack of SPS, I'm hoping the prices start to turn around again soon.
Those gold legendaries are so rare, it would be great to pull a few more! Fingers crossed the SPS takes off again soon, that.waa great when it pumped.
That's why it's funny that this secondary keeps pulling them, got one again yesterday. They're all soul bound for now but maybe eventually they'll be worth something.
Yeah it is strange how it works and very lucky there 😅
I am sure they will be sellable at some point..
