SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge: HAUNTED SPIDER

Today we are going to talk about one of the main character - the painful HAUNTED SPIDER !

Here are the rules of my battle :

  1. Earthquake: Non-flying monsters take 2 melee damage at the end of each round.
  2. Lost Magic : Monsters with magic attack may not be used in battles.
  3. Mana Cap : 29
  4. Water/ Life/ Death / Dragon active

With the rule set of earthquake, and a mid range mana cap of 29, I decided to go with Dragon + death deck as it's more low in mana cost, to enable me to put more monsters.

This is my lineup :

I choose Brighton Bloom as my main summoner due to rule set Earthquake, it enable all my monster to fly to avoid the 2 damage dealt per round.

TANK (1st Position) :

Since the battle is without magic attack, I decided to go with Djinn Chwala, due to it's high armor and health, as well as the thorn ability to reflect melee attacks. This is one of the best tank in my honest opinion in dragon deck, despite it's high mana cost of 8.

TANK(2nd Position) :

I picked Shadowy Presence as my 2nd tank due to it's low mana cost of 1, as well as 4 health to tank. My damage main output will be from the back.

3rd Postion :

I picked the undead priest for my 3rd position, as my support to deduct the enemy's monsters health by 1. This is extremely useful to lower their base health so you can get to kill their monster at a faster rate.

4th Position :

I picked the Grim Reaper as my 4th position, the damaging 3 ranged attack is going to kill of the enemy quickly. This is one of my first 3 range damage dealer, as we need a lot of fire-power at the back to kill the enemy fast.

5th Position :

Another damage dealer of my deck, is the Soulstorm. This damage dealer will be dealing another 3 range attack, adding the power together with the Grim Reaper.

6th Position :

Last but not least, I had included Haunted Spider in my line-up. It only cost 3 mana and deal 2 range damage in my team. This is extremely useful due to it's low mana cost, and at the same time able to deal 2 damage per round. It's sitting at a useful 2 health as well, the only bad thing about this is the speed which sits at 1. Other than that, it's perfect to be included in a death deck.

The above lineup and very subjective and depending on what's the rule of the battle and etc.

CONCLUSION

In this kind of battle scenario, the Haunted Spider will be a great pick due to it's low mana cost and range attack dealer.

Thank you to the @splinterlands team for creating such an creative and challenging game. I look forward to have more "Share Your Battle" challenge in near future as it really helps newbie explore more exciting monsters to use !
