Plado Emberstorm + Melee Monsters = Domination.

SL.jpg

Greetings.

You should already understand the topic I'm going to talk about in this post as I made that clear (kind of) in both the title and the thumbnail.

So, after trying Yodin Zaku, now I gave a try on another legendary fire summoner which is Plado Emberstorm. Plado Emberstorm summons its monsters giving +1 speed and +1 melee attack, and it removes a health portion from every monsters in the opponent team.

The extra speed allows the monsters to attack fast and the extra melee attack allows the melee monsters to attack with more power. And the opponent monsters gets weaker losing a health portion from each one of them.

So, I started playing in a new fire focus where I had 0 focus point. Then I played and 10 battles in a row and I won in every one of them and I unlocked my very first focus chest. I'll try to unlock more later.

I have 10 battles to talk about and I was confused as all of them were good in my sense so I tried a random picker webtool where I did input numbers (1 to 10 from up to below).

And I got the number 5 so I'm going to talk about the battle that falls in number 5 from up towards below.

Here's the battle link if you wish to check.

Choosing Monsters

My TeamOpponent's Team
Grum FlamebladeThe Kraken
Fineas RageXenith Monk
Tenyii StrikerMerdaali Guardian
Kobold MinerDwarven Wizard
Ant MinersVenari Wavesmith
Battering RamAngelic Mandarin

Both my opponent team and I created our team selecting six monsters each where I used fire element and my opponent used water element.

I used six melee attack monsters and I learnt that melee attack monsters can only attack from the first position normally unless its abnormal. As the summoner Plado Emberstorm offers an extra melee attack to melee monsters so I thought of looking for melee monsters who are abnormal I mean who can attack from far from the first position. And all six melee monsters that I used in those positions can attack (except the Ant Miners) using their special abilities.

Grum Flameblade can't attack when its not on the first position so I used it on the first position. Fineas Rage has an ability called reach that allows any melee monster to attack from the second position. Tenyii Striker and Kobold Miner has abilities called sneak that allows its holder to target the last monster on the enemy team instead of the first monster and from any position. And Miners has an special ability called scavenger that allows it to gain extra health each time any monster dies but it can't attack from that position but still I used it there hoping that it might get a lot of health portion. Battering Ram has an ability called opportunity and monsters with the opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy monster with the lowest health.

Now let's talk about how my choosing monsters did on the battlefield getting the support of Plado Emberstorm.

The Battle

My team got the first kill at the third round although it meant to happen at the end of the second round where Grum Flameblade should've been the killer but he missed for some unknown reason. Ant Miners got extra health for this kill and then the next attack was from the opponent team where my team lost Grum Flameblade and Ant Miners got extra health for this kill as well.

When Tenyii Striker and Kobold Miner were busy killing the last monster on the opponent team, Ant Miners were busy to gain more and more health. Battering Ram was success in getting its first kill by killing the opponent teams Merdaali Guardian and now they don't get tank heal anymore but Xenith Monk had an ability called heal that was being used to get extra health each round. Then at the end of round 6, the last opponent monster died and And Miners had accumulate a total of 9 health for all the kills that other did.

I see the extra melee attack was really helpful for the melee monsters in this battle for example, Tenyii Striker attacked and destroyed 3 armor of some opponent monsters and then Kobold Miner killed them easily. If Tenyii Striker had the regular 2 melee attacks then those opponent monsters still got 1 armor and Kobold Miner would just hit the armor.

So, what do you think of the combination of Plado Emberstorm and melee monsters? Isn't it dominating?

How do you like me explaining what I'm experiencing?
If you like it, feel free to like, comment & share. I will soon come with another post writing what happens next.
