$8000 Splinterfunds with May updates, especially during the bear market

Background Info:

Been playing Splinterlands since 2021 Jul and after understanding the economic of Splinterlands, I highly believe that profit could be made from the ecosystem. As a result, I decided to raise money from a small group of people for a total $8000 USD. I would like to thanks Bro Raymond for his brofi idea that inspire me to start this pool fund.

And with such a big swing in crypto movement recently, I would like to give an update on the fund, especially during the bear market to see how well it is facing against the others.

Just a quick recap, the fund $8000 had been used fully to purchase 2000chao packs during the public sale. In addition, 400 vouchers was borrowed to tap on the 20% bonus of getting another 400 chao packs. With the airdrops, the fund has successfully paid back all 400 vouchers at this point of time and the fund held a total of 2400 packs.

Let's have a look at how many SPS it is currently holding.
At of 2 days ago, it is having 7332SPS staked and with the price of SPS at $0.085/SPS, the staked SPS is worth $623+. The screenshot is also able to show that as of now, the fund is able to get 49+SPS from the daily SPS airdrop and 2+SPS from the staked SPS. In addition, the staked SPS also can give roughly about 0.22voucher per day. Recently, Splinterlands also include the vouchers as part of the APR for staking and this push the APR to have a delicious of close to 60% APR.

After accumulating the vouchers in may, as of now, the account has about 4 vouchers already. So what i will be kept doing constantly for this fund, is that i am gonna convert these vouchers to SPS. As always, I am going to withdraw these vouchers into hive engine.

As you can see from the below screenshot, vouchers currently are worth $1.60, and you can see the candle chart that recently the price of voucher had jumped. This is due to the upcoming splinterlands node sale that requires buyers to pay 500 vouchers as part of the purchase for each node. I believe the price of the vouchers will continue to improve but at this point of time, SPS is still trading at quite a good price that I think it is good enough for accumulating.

You have to sell the vouchers for hive.swap tokens before you can then buy the SPS with the hive.swap. Overall, 4 vouchers can get me a nice amount of about 80 SPS. 80 SPS may not sound a lot but these SPS builds up and I foresee that SPS can easily worth $1 in the future, and these 80 SPS will be at least $80 and that is like 1% pure profit of the fund.

I also like to highlight that this is not the first time I have sold the vouchers. Previously, I had sold the vouchers to purchase more chao packs. So as you can see, despite only buying 2400 cl packs during the public sale, we had gotten an additional 8 cl packs from selling the vouchers in the previous experience. So as of now, the fund is holding 2408 cl packs!

As of writting this blog,
the price for

• 1 chao pack is about $2.87
• 1 SPS is about $0.088

So the currently value of the splinterfund is about
Chao packs : 2408 * $2.87 = ~$6911
SPS : 7384 * $0.088 = ~$649.80

In total, the $8000 splinterfund is valued at about
$6910 + $650 = ~$7560

Don't forget that the fund will still continue to get free daily SPS for the next 68days and the fund also qualify for the upcoming 6 legendary summoenrs!! It will also get roughly 0.2vouchers per day.

With all these benefits, I am quite confidence that these upcoming rewards can easily filled the loss gap of $440. Don't forget that this fund still can hold its value, whereas most of the crypto are losing like 50% to 99% in value.
