Validator Node Updates on Splinterlands

Currently, the hype of the validator sale had mostly died down. There are still some sale of the node these few days. So far, there are about 400 sold in tranche 1.

The more validator node sold means more sps will be burned.

I had bought 2 validator node a while back during the presale. After that, I start to wonder if I am doing it right as we have no idea when the validator software will start running and generate passive income. I express to some that I maybe a bit regret to buy 2 as I am wondering if it is better to just buy 1 and cash out the other. Overall, I dont want to be at a state like land where the software progress is just kept delaying with zero passive income for a long period of time. At least if I cash out the amount for the 2nd node, I can put it elsewhere to generate income. One simple way is to convert all these to hive power and can get more curator rewards.

So you can see why I am happy when a few hours ago, Splinterlands announced to reward node holders.
In general,

1. node holder will entitle to a pool of 20k vouchers daily payout, roughly about 8.33 vouchers as of now, starting from next week
2. Process of the node software had been smooth, with the expectation that the software to be live and start paying out sps rewards by the end of aug.

And once again, that makes me even more bullish on Splinterlands. Cause times and times again that the dev put a lot of emphasis to bring values to Splinterlands asset holder. Even the creation of node bring zero monetary value to the company. The Splinterlands assets owners get the full benefit. The company is willing to do all these almost for free to improve value of the Splinterlands owners.
