Greetings Splinterlands!
Hello all! This is my first introduction post so I figured I would give some background to who I am and what I am trying to accomplish here. I just joined Splinterlands a week ago. I heard about it from a friend and given my experience in crypto + my experience in card games (Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc), I figured that I would be a perfect candidate to start playing. I purchased the summoner's spellbook and started to play right away.
I'm not going to lie, at first it was all very confusing. I was losing battles at a high rate and I couldn't understand how to place my cards but, after a little bit of time and research I started developing various strategies which helped me win. Then I got introduced to the market. I quickly learned that the best way to advance leagues and increase collection power is to buy/rent cards and I also learned that the best way to buy cards is on Monster market (https://monstermarket.io/) or CardAuctionz (https://www.cardauctionz.com/) because they will give you some cashback in the form of DEC. As of right now, I am just trying to acquire the most useful cards so that I can start stacking DEC tokens. Eventually I will want to start stacking SPS tokens so that I can eventually start getting VOUCHERS (this seems to be all the rage right now and there is a lot of hype behind them)
I still have SO MUCH to learn. I'm still kind of learning how someone can earn SPT using https://www.splintertalk.io/ (this is very confusing for me). I'm also learning how to use peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/) and I need to learn more about land and what it is and how to acquire it but, so far I'm very impressed and excited to learn more. My primary purpose here is to start earning passive income and I'm sure many people here have the same goal. As I learn about different ways to earn passive income, I will start posting more. If anyone has any tips for a beginner on how to best earn passive income, please feel free to drop a comment! I'm excited to see what else this game has to offer!
Also, if anyone can explain how SPT works in splintertalk, I would also appreciate any comments detailing on the best way one can utilize their blog to make money.
