How to counter Alric and fight Water with Water!

Everyone in Bronze and lower Silver knows the Alric Magic Combo with Djinn Oshannus,Venari Wavesmith and a lot of Magic monsters.

This combo is so strong because:

• Strong Splinter with Alric Stormbringers who gives a +1 Magic damage buff.

• Magic can't miss and ignores armor

• At the same speed Magic attacks before Range and Meelee.

• Magic monster can also attack in first position.

• Venari Wavesmith gives all monsters +2 Armor, what makes the low health monsters a lot more versatile, especially against Fire.

• Djinn Oshannus is a great tank with his 10 HP, 5 Speed to dodge a lot of physical damage, Void ability to counter other magic attackers.

Water Magic without Oshannus is still strong, but you can't win a mirror match if your opponent plays Oshannus.
At the moment the the sale price for Djinn Oshannus is around 50$ and Rent Bids start at 20 DEC/day.

Today I had the Water Splinter Daily Quest but I couldn't play Oshannus. Luckily the 2nd Water splinter Borus with -1 magic dmg debuff is the perfect counter for Alric.
If you play Borus and Torhilo the Frozen with the Void ability (4-6 DEC/day) these completly negates Magic dmg of the most magic monsters of Alric. Magic monsters with 1 magic attack can't damage Monsters with Void ability because it gets reduced to 0.

I like to play Borus with Torhilo (Oshannus is also possible if you have it) and play it with Axemaster or like in the battle below with a full Meelee lineup to counter the enemies Alric lineup.
Key card for this Meelee Lineup is the Demented Shark with the Inspire Ability what increases the Meelee Damage of all monster by 1.
