Great Post with pro and cons.
Another thing for opening packs: it is required to use both potions to maximize the drop, what is an additional cost of 0.4$ per Pack. (110 packs and 550 charges).

I want to buy some packs and keep them for the airdrops of SPS and cards. I might open a few of them to use my free potions I have earned through rewards chests.
Because I was never very lucky with card packs opening I am going to buy the cards I want from the market.

Yes, I totally forgot about the potions. It seems like you get some many of them when you don't want them and then when you actually need them, you don't have enough. lol

Yes, I've been pretty fortunate with my pack openings. Quests and season rewards are another story. I've gotten very little of value from them. I'm going to buy some packs mostly for the promo card airdrops, and then I'll be trying to scoop deals off the market to fill everything in that I'm missing.

Yes! Always annoying to get one from the season rewards and now I would have way less I want. 😃

I wish you good luck for your pack openings!

I have no faith in my luck any more. Never got awesome loot in MTG or Hearthstone pack openings. When Hearthstone the introduced the bad luck protection for legendaries it ended for me that I got 4 times the same legendary (not a good one) out of my Pre-Purchase. Still worse than average drop rate and then no advantage haha.
