E304 DAWN Rising Star Game Art
Hi, today I want to share a small drawing with you. This drawing came to me out of pure inspiration while I was sketching. I created this girl drummer and thought I had seen her before, and of course, I had, because she’s a character from one of the cards in Rising Star Game. I immediately changed the direction of my sketch and characterized it even more like the character.
Hola, hoy les voy a compartir un pequeño dibujo. Este dibujo vino a mí por pura inspiración mientras bocetaba. Creé a esta chica baterista y pensé que la había visto antes, y claro que sí, es que es un personaje que pertenece a una de las cartas de Rising Star Game. Enseguida cambié el rumbo de mi boceto y lo caractericé aún más como el personaje.
This is how my sketch was coming along. As you can see, it's inspired by the format and layout of a comic, so I added the card's name and identifier in large, eye-catching letters, as well as its stats and attributes, and its small caption. I really liked this sketch and wanted it to be more than just a sketch, so I went for a lineart and also added a bit of color.
Así estaba quedando mi boceto, como ven está inspirado en la forma y distribución de un cómic, así que agregué con letras grandes y llamativas el nombre e identificador de la carta, también sus stats y atributos, y su pequeño caption. Me gustó mucho este boceto y quería que fuera más que un simple boceto, así que fui por un lineart y también por un poco de color.
This is the card that inspired me, and although here the drummer looks a bit sad and depressed, let's cheer her up, because real drummers don't have down days hahaha.
Esta es la carta en la que me inspiré, y aunque aquí la baterista se ve algo triste y deprimida, vamos a alegrarla, porque los verdaderos bateristas no tienen días de bajones jajaja.
When I finished the line art, I got this result. I like that my freehand drawings without references are looking better every time, and it's thanks to the daily practice I've been doing, practice that I also share here. So don't hesitate to follow me to stay updated.
Cuando terminé con el line art, tuve este resultado. Me gusta que cada vez mis dibujos libres y sin referencias se ven mejor, y es gracias a la práctica diaria que estoy haciendo, prácticas que también comparto por aquí. Así que no dudes en seguirme para mantenerte al tanto.
Finally, for the finishing touches on my drawing, I added some details and highlights, as well as background effects to highlight the main character even more. I love making these aimless drawings and starting from a completely imagined sketch. Now all that's left is to wonder what song this drummer will play. Por último, para los toques finales de mi dibujo, agregué algunos detalles y brillos, así como efectos en el fondo para resaltar aún más al personaje principal. Me encanta hacer estos dibujos sin rumbo y partir desde un boceto completamente imaginado. Ahora solo queda saber qué canción tocará esta baterista. Gracias por acompañarme un día más dibujando.
