[EN/ES] Drawing S117 The Grunge Rising Star Game

Today I will be drawing the Rising Star Game S117 card known as The Grunge, it is a special Christmas card that has 5 Luck, 2 IM, 125 Skill and the same number of Fans, I really like its Christmas design, the card shows a Punk in full scream while playing his electric guitar, he also has a vest inspired by Christmas with ornaments and his characteristic green crest, what I like the most is the design of his red electric guitar, I will be drawing in traditional style and I will use paper, alcohol markers and colored pencils.

Hoy estaré dibujando la carta de Rising Star Game S117 conocida como The Grunge, es una carta especial de Navidad que tiene 5 de Luck, 2 de IM, 125 de Skill e igual número de Fans, me gusta mucho su diseño navideño, la carta muestra a un Punk en pleno grito mientras toca su guitarra eléctrica, además tiene un chaleco inspirado en la Navidad con adornos y su característica cresta verde, lo que más me gusta es el diseño de su guitarra eléctrica roja, estaré dibujando en tradicional y usaré papel, marcadores de alcohol y lápices de colores.

I started drawing my sketch on paper, trying to give it all the characteristics of the character, and little by little it took shape starting from basic forms, I think my daily drawing practices are having an effect, although hands are still quite complicated for me in my drawings, I gave him the same pose and drew his electric guitar, I really liked the angry expression he has on his face.

Comencé dibujando mi boceto en papel, tratando de darle todas las características del personaje, y poco a poco fue tomando forma partiendo de formas básicas, creo que mis prácticas diarias de dibujo están teniendo efecto, aunque aún se me complican bastante las manos en mis dibujos, le hice la misma pose y le dibujé su guitarra eléctrica, me gustó mucho la expresión de enojo que tiene en el rostro.

To make the lineart of my drawing I will be using a black pen, where I will go over the lines of the sketch one by one and add shadow areas making them completely black, I will also add some details, and when I finish with the details and have all the lineart, I will erase my sketch to have the final drawing, this is how the result of the lines turned out, I liked it a lot and despite the thickness of the pen being considerable I managed to get a good lineart even in tight areas like the face.

Para hacer el lineart de mi dibujo estaré usando un bolígrafo negro, donde repasaré las líneas del boceto una a una y agregaré zonas de sombra haciéndolas totalmente negras, también daré algunos detalles, y cuando termine con los detalles y tenga todo el lineart, borraré mi boceto para tener el dibujo final, así quedó el resultado de las líneas, me gustó mucho y a pesar de que el grosor del lapicero era considerable pude tener un buen lineart incluso en zonas apretadas como el rostro.

As I mentioned, to color my drawing I will be using a mix of alcohol markers with colored pencils, I first start by creating layers with the color markers in each area of my drawing and then I am ready to apply the details in the darker areas with colored pencils to create shadows.

Como adelantaba, para colorear mi dibujo estaré usando una mezcla de marcadores de alcohol con lápices de colores, comienzo primero creando capas con los marcadores de color en cada zona de mi dibujo y después estoy listo para aplicar los detalles en las zonas más oscuras con lápices de colores para crear sombras.

This is the character card on which my drawing is based, I think it is easily identifiable and you can recognize that it is the same character even though it is a cartoon style drawing.

Esta es la carta de personaje en la que está basado mi dibujo, creo que se identifica fácilmente y se puede reconocer que es el mismo personaje aunque sea un dibujo estilo cartoon.

For the background I simply made some spots and doodles with a marker and filled all the space with a green colored pencil, thank you for accompanying me one more day drawing.

Para el fondo simplemente hice algunas manchas y garabatos con marcador y rellené todo el espacio con lápiz de color verde, gracias por acompañarme un día más dibujando.
