Scarred Llama Mage | Splinterlands ART
Today I wanted to make a new drawing inspired by Splinterlands and its creatures, a subject I really enjoy drawing but don't do very often. Additionally, I think in the world of Splinterlands there are many great character designs to draw inspiration from for creating all kinds of art. The drawing I'm showing today is Scarred Llama Mage, I think everyone knows it. For my drawing I'll be using IbisPaint as my drawing program, and I also want it to be very colorful like the original card it's inspired by. I not only drew the llama but also the little smiling cactus.
Hoy quise hacer un nuevo dibujo inspirado en Splinterlands y en sus criaturas, un tema del que me gusta mucho dibujar pero no lo hago muy seguido. Además, creo que en el mundo de Splinterlands hay muchos y muy buenos diseños de personajes de los cuales inspirarse para crear todo tipo de arte. El dibujo que hoy les muestro es Scarred Llama Mage, creo que todos la conocen. Para mi dibujo estaré usando IbisPaint como programa de dibujo, además, quiero que sea un dibujo muy colorido como la carta original de la que se inspira. No solo dibujé la llama, sino también el pequeño cactus sonriente.
I simply started sketching and drawing, and before I knew it, I had a drawing that I loved. I really, really liked the sketch, since I would barely have to make any changes to it. I also discovered that I really enjoy drawing llamas maybe I'll do a series of llamas someday. Well, sketch ready, so on to the line art. I'll be using the default brushes in Ibis Paint.
Simplemente comencé a hacer el boceto y a dibujar, y cuando menos lo pensé tenía un dibujo que amé. Me gustó mucho, mucho el boceto, ya que casi no tendría que hacerle cambios. También descubrí que me gusta mucho dibujar llamas, quizás haga una serie de llamas algún día. Bueno, boceto listo, entonces a hacer el line art. Estaré usando los pinceles por default de Ibis Paint.
With the line art done, it's time to color. It happens to me a lot that sometimes I have the drawing up to the line art and coloring it feels like a real chore, hahaha.
Con el line art hecho, es hora de colorear. Me pasa mucho que a veces tengo el dibujo hasta el line art y colorear me pesa bastante, jajaja.
Well then, I started coloring. First the cactus because it was the simplest and the one I would use the fewest colors on. I also used those colors to do a bit of the llama's little ears and its face. Next will be the vine on its body and its shiny fur.
Bueno, sin más, comencé a colorear. Primero el cactus porque era lo más simple y lo que menos colores utilizaría; de esos colores también saqué algo de las orejitas de la llama y su carita. Lo siguiente será la enredadera de su cuerpo y su pelaje brillante.
All that was left was to make a background inspired by nature and using the colors of the characters, and that's it, the whole drawing is complete. I really enjoyed making this drawing, and I really liked seeing Splinterlands creatures in my drawings again. Thank you for joining me for another day of drawing.
Solo quedó hacer un fondo inspirado en la naturaleza y con los colores de los personajes, y listo, todo el dibujo completo. Me gustó mucho realizar este dibujo, y me gustó mucho volver a ver criaturas de Splinterlands en mis dibujos. Gracias por acompañarme un día más dibujando.
