Making Splinterlands Characters with Ai Tech: Venator Kinjo
For 5 weeks now I've been participating in the Splinterlands art contests. It's been fun drawing all those characters and stuff. But some days ago I happened upon an AI art app called Dawn Ai. The way it works is really simple, you simply input some keywords like "sad bearded man", "monkey laughing", etc. And the Ai would generate art according to your keywords.
I tried it out to see what kind of art can be generated there and I had a lot of fun with it.
Then it struck me that I can try some key words and try to make this app generate art of Splinterlands characters. Since I had just drawn this Venator Kinjo character last week (you can check out the full post for the drawing and proof it's mine.)
I decided to start with keywords that would generate something close to Venator Kinjo.
This is Venator Kinjo on the original Splinterlands card:
If you try names of famous people you'll get art works of them. I tried Trump, Mandela, etc and got good results so I tried to type in Venator Kinjo but all I got were planes and cameras. Hah I wonder why. So I tried other keywords that contained stuff like "bad ass monk", "bearded monk", and a lot of other combinations.
So here are the arts generated using keywords aimed to produce something close to what Venator Kinjo looks like:
They're all legit stuffs that can go into the Splinterlands art contest as Venator Kinjo. Many of the entries look only little like the original characters on the cards like these ones above too.
The next ones are the best, though, I mixed "avatar Aang" in the keywords and thats how I got them. Here they are:
Really cool stuff. And I think there are no copyright problems with these things. Crazy and fun stuff.
