Finally! My First Conclave Arcana Raffle Drop — Patience Pays Off

It finally happened.

After weeks of entering raffles, stacking entries, and watching others celebrate their lucky pulls, I finally received my first Conclave Arcana reward card raffle drop. And let me tell you—it felt earned.

Competing Against the Giants

The Conclave Arcana raffles have been intense. Many top players have found creative (and expensive) ways to generate massive numbers of entries, far beyond what I’m realistically able or willing to match.

The biggest limiter for me has been the SPS staked requirement, which caps how many entries each player can meaningfully leverage. Even with 2 million SPS staked, I only target around 500,000 for raffle eligibility because going for the full 5 million just isn’t worth sacrificing my SPL rental income.

That extra DEC income continues to be critical for my land expansion strategy, so pushing to the top SPS bracket would do more harm than good in my overall game plan.

Proof That Persistence Works

Given the competition, my expectations have been grounded from the start:

I knew that if I stayed consistent—logging in, completing quests, and gathering entries every week—a win would eventually come.

And this drop did exactly that.

It validated the approach: steady, patient, and realistic.

Timing Strategy: Paying Off… Mostly

I’ve also adopted a bit of a strategy with my Glint chests. Rather than opening them immediately at the start of each new Season—when everyone rushes in and floods the raffles with entries—I’ve chosen to wait until the second raffle drawing.

Why?

Less competition and a cleaner runway for my odds to matter more.

But this method does come with a tradeoff.

Twice now, I’ve missed the chance to chase the new rare skins, because by the time I open my chests, they’re already fully minted.

Here’s the surprising part:

It doesn’t bother me anymore.

Letting Go of “Completionist Pressure”

For years in Splinterlands, I felt the weight of wanting to have everything. Every edition. Every foil. Every exclusive.

But missing these skins—not once, but twice—helped me realize something:

I don’t need everything to enjoy the game.

I’m no longer chasing cosmetic completeness. I’m focused on:

  • Building my Land economy
  • Maxing the cards that matter
  • Participating in raffles for fun
  • Improving my Frontier and Modern decks
  • Staying engaged without burning myself out

And it feels great. That freedom makes this raffle win even sweeter.

A Small Drop, A Big Reminder

This wasn’t just a card—it was a reminder that Splinterlands continues to reward players who show up, engage, and stay consistent. You don’t need to be a whale to enjoy moments of excitement. Sometimes all it takes is persistence and patience.

Here’s to more raffles, more chances, and more celebrations ahead—win or lose.

But for now?

It feels great to finally say: I got one!
