Splintervibes is a community-driven project supported by the development team that brought together creators across the ecosystem to produce AI-generated music inspired by the lore of Splinterlands. It’s creative, unexpected, and very much in line with the experimental spirit that has defined the game since its early days.

What started as a fun creative experiment has now evolved into something tangible: a book of songs released as NFTs, which players can acquire directly or win through prizes. It’s a fascinating blend of storytelling, technology, and community participation—turning lore into something you can literally listen to.
While I appreciated the project from the sidelines at first, that quickly changed when I saw one specific song become available.
The Scarred Llama Mage Connection
The moment I learned there was a song dedicated to Scarred Llama Mage, resistance was futile.
I went straight into the shop on release and bought it—despite the fact that it cost DEC I’ve been carefully accumulating for land. From a purely strategic standpoint, it probably wasn’t the optimal move.
From a personal standpoint?
It was a no-brainer.
The Scarred Llama Mage isn’t just another card to me. That card carries a real-life memory that I still hold close.

During the Untamed Kickstarter, my family and I went all in—and one of the most meaningful outcomes of that experience was that my daughter designed the Scarred Llama Mage. For me, that Scarred Llama Mage song is more than music. It’s a reminder of why I stayed, why I continue to participate, and why this game has been such a meaningful part of my life—and my family’s—over the years.
