Hello
splinterlands Lovers !!

Today, I am going to introduce you to a Splinterlands card that I frequently use in my Water strategy. Currently, I use the Water Splinter—and this specific card—in two out of every three battles. It is an incredibly powerful card that plays a major role in helping me secure victories. I currently own both the Gold and Normal versions of this card; the one I have is at Level 2. I was recently reviewing my older cards with the intention of upgrading them, and upon closer inspection, I realized this card becomes extremely powerful at Level 4. Since the Gold version would be quite costly to upgrade, I plan to upgrade the Normal version instead. So, let me share some basic information about the card and the benefits of upgrading it to Level 4.

Abillity Guide
First of all, I will explain what abilities this card gains when you upgrade it and how that can benefit you in battle.

ImageAbilityDescription
VoidHere, the 'Void' ability comes into play, where you take 50% damage from magic attacks. Normally, a magic attack deals full damage to a monster, but with this ability, you only take half the damage. This means that if an enemy unit deals 6 damage, our monster will take 3. If an enemy monster has a magic attack value of 1, our monster will take 0 damage in that situation.
PhaseIn Splinterlands, magic attacks do not normally miss; however, if a monster possesses the 'Phase' ability, a magic attack can miss. A magic attack can also miss if the target monster has high speed or abilities like 'Flying'. For instance, if an enemy with an attack value of 3 targets your monster and yours has high speed, the attack might miss, resulting in zero damage.
ForcefieldRegarding the Forcefield ability: if an attack has a damage value of 5 or higher, it will not deal the full amount of damage; instead, only 1 damage is dealt. For instance, if an enemy attacks with 6 damage against a monster possessing this ability, only 1 damage is inflicted; however, if the attack deals 4 damage, the full 4 damage is applied.

Conclusion

Having just taken a look at this card, I find it to be excellent; it is a Legendary card for the Water Splinter that deals magic damage. If you upgrade it, its utility improves significantly. After reviewing it, I am planning to level it up to Level 4 soon. At Level 4, the card's magic attack increases to 3. When combined with the Water and Dragon Splinters—which provide a +1 magic attack bonus—your team can become incredibly powerful. I hope you enjoyed this post.
