Today, I will provide you with complete information regarding a card upgrade in Splinterlands. I have observed that players in Splinterlands often tend to avoid 3-Mana cards; however, the reality is that 3-Mana cards are utilized quite frequently within the game. As you may already know, such cards prove to be extremely useful during low-Mana battles or in matches with a 6-Mana cap. I decided to upgrade this specific card because leveling it up—specifically by combining four copies to reach Level 2—offers significant advantages. At this level, the card boasts 2 Melee Attack power, 4 Health, and 4 Speed. I have recorded a complete video documenting the entire upgrade process, from Level 1 to Level 2, and I have included that video in this post; you can watch it here to see, step-by-step, exactly how I upgraded the card to Level 2. Since 3 is an odd number, and it frequently appears as a Mana cap in various battles, it is essential to have such cards in your collection. Having these cards ensures that your available Mana does not go to waste.

As you can see here, I have upgraded the card to Level 2. If I were to consider leveling it up further, there are additional benefits to be gained; however, for the time being, keeping it at Level 2 is the optimal choice. Furthermore, at Level 3, this card acquires the "Deflect" ability. Since this ability blocks various types of attacks—such as magic—you can make this card even more formidable by upgrading it to Level 6. I would also like to point out that during battles with a low Mana cap, positioning this card in the second slot provides a significant strategic advantage. This card will only execute attacks if it is placed in the second position; otherwise, it will remain inactive regardless of its placement on the battlefield. Currently, this card possesses an attack power of 2; however, at Level 6, its attack power increases to 3. Therefore, upgrading it to Level 6 would prove to be highly beneficial.
