A match that changed the way I play Splinterlands

The Splinterlands game is not a reward game for me today. I consider this game as my future. When I started playing Splinterlands I lost a lot of battles. Even though I had very good cards, I kept losing the battle. My lack of thinking was behind it. I used to think that having strong cards is everything but it was not so, even if you have strong cards you still lose the match. The reason for this is not understanding the rules properly and not understanding the strategy of the players playing in front of you. If you do not have the ability to understand these two things, then even if you have good and level sub cards, you can lose the battle. Today I will tell you about the story of this battle in this post.

My special moment with Splinterlands

I still remember that I learned a lot from this battle. I had a lot of good cards and special ability cards in my team. The team in front of me liked normal cards. I thought I would win this battle but I lost it. Just this battle taught me how to play Splinterlands game. Now what happened was that I had not read the rules and I had liked the cards. The rule was that poison will reduce your health in every round and you will be damaged, but I liked cards with less health and the team in front of me had cards that increased health and created such a strategy that I started wondering how this happened. But I had learned from everyone that understanding the strategy and rules in Splinterlands is the key to winning the battle. Then in every battle, I learned to first understand the rules, then to like the cards, to keep the position of each card properly and not to make any hasty move. After that my ranking is very good every season.

What I Learned

I learned here that the ruleset decides the direction of the entire match. I would say that first of all you should read the rules before the battle starts, understand them and only then you should like the card. If you don't read the rules properly, you will lose the battle no matter how many good cards you have.

You must have strategy. You are playing but play thoughtfully that if I have this rule then which card should I prefer. If there is a melee attack rule then take cards like that or you can also like bubble cards. So you work by making strategy like this. The position of each card should also be correct. Which card to keep? It is also very important to know who will fight first and which card will be played last, otherwise every battle can turn into another.

Before submitting the battle, you should make sure that you have chosen the right card in the battle and its position is correct, only then submit the battle.

Change in My Approach

I made a lot of changes in my game plan. First of all I read and understood every rule. What are the rules - What are the rules saying to you? Now that I can understand every rule, I enjoy playing Splinterlands game a lot. The second change is the car cover position – this part is very important here. You have to place the card with the melee attack you got on the first position. So that the card behind you can do its job well. Place such a card in the first place so that it can stay in the match till the end, the rest of your fighting cards will do the work of making you win the battle. So this changed my way of playing. Also think about the player playing in front of you and what strategy he can create. Think like him and make a strategy against him. If you learn these then you can win the battle well.

Hive & Long-Term Mindset

After this experience, I changed my perspective on the Hive ecosystem. Sustainable growth on Hive comes from commitment. Simply extracting and selling the Hive we receive, focusing only on rewards and cashing out, doesn't lead to any improvement in the Hive ecosystem. You need to build trust and demonstrate that you're part of the system, not just here for the rewards. Long-term improvement in Splinterlands requires patience and discipline. The longer you play Splinterlands, the more you'll learn about it. Long-term players are the ones who strengthen the Hive community, and I want to be counted among those players who contribute to the Hive ecosystem.

Conclusion

One match changed the way I play Splinterlands. It is not that I have learned everything, Splatterlands is a game where you will get to learn something new every day. You can see now that new updates keep coming in Splinterlands every day. Therefore, the more you learn, the less it will be, but I would definitely say that it is very important for you to understand where and how to use each card position. If you learn this, you can lose very few battles. If you understand the battle rules, you will feel much better about understanding Splinterlands. You will enjoy it a lot. So play Splinterlands with understanding.
