Today, I will share a Splinterlands battle with you. In this match, I will be playing as the Fire Splinter. I am using my usual set of cards here, but I will also take this opportunity to explain two specific rules. I have also included a new card in my lineup called Grove Doomblade. This card possesses the "Sneak" ability, which allows it to attack from any position on the battlefield. During this match, I will highlight two specific rules—rules that are absolutely essential to understand. I have selected my cards specifically to align with these rules. I have invested significant effort into building my Fire team, and these are the cards I generally prefer to use within that lineup. I have successfully leveled up my Fire Splinter cards to a high standard, which has been instrumental in helping me secure victories in battle. My team is performing exceptionally well.

First Rule - Rise of the Commons

These rules essentially state that you are permitted to select only Common and Rare cards here; you cannot choose any other types of cards—such as Legendary or Epic cards—as you will not be able to use them in this battle. Simply put, you must select only Common and Rare cards.

Global Warming

These rules imply that as soon as the battle begins, a "Burning" effect is applied to every card on the field. In each subsequent round, the Health of all cards will decrease by 2. Consequently, every card will continue to burn throughout the match, and their Health will steadily deplete with every passing round. Therefore, for this battle, you should select cards with higher Health stats to ensure they can survive and remain active in the fight for a longer duration.

Battle Riview

Based on the rules governing this battle, I did not expect to emerge victorious. However, thanks to a missed attack on a specific card, I managed to win. Here, I have a card named "Grove Doomblade." This card delivers an excellent performance during battles. Due to its "Sneak" ability, this card can attack any opposing card from any position on the battlefield. Furthermore, the melee attack power possessed by this card is quite impressive, allowing it to take a strong lead in combat. During the battle, I initially felt certain that I would lose; however, a missed attack on the "Fineas Rage" card ultimately secured my victory. That said, under the specific rules governing this particular battle format, cards with higher health points are generally the ones best equipped to secure a win.

I possess a Level 1 version of this card. It is a card with a Mana cost of 9. It features an Attack value of 5. Additionally, it offers 2 Shield points, 5 Health points, and 1 Speed point. This card possesses the "Snake" ability, which allows it to attack the opposing team from any position on the battlefield. Upon leveling up, this card evolves into an incredibly powerful asset. At Level 8, it also gains the "Ambush" ability, making it even more formidable.
