Splinterlands Update – New Ruleset, Gameplay Fixes & UI Improvements !
Hello
Splinterlands Lovers !

Today, I'm going to explain the new Splinterlands update. This update includes several changes to the ruleset, gameplay mechanics, leaderboard, and UI. I'll share more about this update in the form of posts, including information gathered from the official website.
Gameplay Update !
NewRuleset - Backlash !
A ruleset called Backlash has been added to the game. This ruleset allows a monster to attack but miss, taking 2 True Damage. If a monster's speed is low and the attack misses, it will automatically take 2 damage. This makes a missed attack more risky.

Change of Ability & Ruleset
Shadow Focus Fix
Previously, if a monster had the Shadow Focus ability and it wasn't active but died, the stats would be incorrectly removed. This issue has been resolved. This bug has been fixed, and the stats will now work correctly.
Melee Mayhem Change
Earlier in these rules, it was such that Melee monsters could attack from behind as well. But the attack was always on the first monster of the enemy. Here only the first monster was attacked but the change here is that now the monster can attack any position of the enemy. Meaning now 2-3 or any number of monsters can be attacked. Now apart from the first monster, any enemy behind can be attacked.
Dispel UI Fix
The Dispel ability was working fine in the game but the ability icon that should be shown on the UI screen was not showing properly. That means the statuses were not getting updated properly. Earlier, if my team attacked the enemy team then the buff should get removed but here the buff actually got removed but the icons were visible in the UI which was creating confusion. This issue has now been fixed here. Now after the update, as soon as the Dispel attack happens, the buff icons will get removed immediately. That means now it will be clearly visible on the screen that the buff has been removed. Now there will be no confusion. The UI problem that was there has been fixed here.
Aim True Update
Splinterlands has a rule called Aim True, which should ensure no attacks miss. However, abilities like speed and dodge were causing attacks to miss, creating confusion. This issue has now been fixed, meaning no attacks will miss, meaning the rule will now work properly.
Close Range Update
In Splinterlands, under the Close Range rule, a ranged monster would attack whenever it came to the first position. This doesn't happen normally, but under these rules, the monster would attack even after coming to the first position. However, after these rules were activated, the display wasn't working properly, or the rule itself wasn't working properly, so this issue has been fixed. The same rules were in place before, but whatever issues were occurring, like the rule not working properly, have been fixed. Now, this ruleset will work properly.
Weak Magic Update
In Splinterlands, under Weak Magic rules, it used to work that whenever there is a magic attack, first the armor will be hit and then the health will be attacked, but here there was some problem in the UI or the rules were not working properly, due to this the Splinterlands team has fixed this bug, now these rules will work properly, there will not be any confusion or any kind of work not being done properly. There has been no change, only whatever issue was coming in the rules, now that will not come in the rules. The game has been made even smoother.
Survival Mode Rewards Update
Survival Mode rewards in Splinterlands have now been divided into two parts. Players who play the game themselves receive 30% of the total rewards. Players who play the game automatically receive 70% of the total rewards. Notice here that rewards are based on Collection Power. Meaning, those with greater Collection Power will receive greater rewards.
Leaderboard Updates
Earlier only ranked players were visible in the leaderboard. That is, only those players who were in the proper rank were visible in the list. Now the change here is that whoever has played at least 1 battle in the season, his name will be visible in the leaderboard. Notice one thing here - if a player has played less than 100 battles then his name will be visible in the leaderboard but he will not get a ranking number. Along with this, another change has come - now Scholar tags have also been added in the leaderboard, so that it can be known which player is a scholar account. I liked this update very much.

Splintervibes Updates
Splintervibes has received two significant updates. One allows you to listen to a preview of a music track before purchasing it on the market. If the player has loop/shuffle turned off, the music will stop after the playlist ends. The system has been streamlined a bit.
Conclusion
There are several other updates, such as improvements to the How To Play pages. The spacing of the Create Team buttons has been fixed. One update I really liked is the addition of an Upgradeable filter to the Card collection to help us see which cards can be leveled up. In my opinion, this update is very helpful for players because many ruleset bugs have now been fixed and the gameplay will feel smoother.
