Today, I am going to share the first battle of the season with you right here. I want to tell you about a specific card of mine—the Phantom of the Abyss—which played a pivotal role in helping me secure a victory in today's battle. Had it not been for two missed attacks targeting this card, I would likely have lost this battle today. When you watch the battle, you will realize that right at the start, three of my cards were already knocked out of the fight; I honestly thought I had lost the match. However, when two attacks missed against the Phantom of the Abyss, the battle took a dramatic turn. At that moment, I felt that had those two attacks not missed, I probably wouldn't have been able to win this battle. Let me now explain the details of this card to you in full.

Phantom of the Abyss is a Legendary card belonging to the Water Unit. This card possesses a Bubble Attack ability. If you look back at my previous battles, you will notice that I have included this card in 99% of my matches. This card features a Bubble Attack power of 3; currently, I hold the Level 1 version of this card. It boasts 7 Health and 6 Speed. This card gains a very powerful ability once it reaches Level 4. Indeed, if you upgrade this card to Level 4, it acquires a truly exceptional ability. This card performs exceptionally well when paired with a Water Summoner; it is for this reason that I prefer to utilize it within a Water Summoner lineup. The Bubble Attack executed by this card never misses its target. Furthermore, if an opposing enemy attempts to attack this card, there is a high probability that their attack will miss. Additionally, this card remains completely unaffected by the Earthquake ruleset. Since your Health remains unaffected by the Earthquake effect, you can safely include this card in your battle lineup, thereby ensuring a highly impressive performance during the match.

Battle OverView

As you watch the battle unfold, you will see just how thrilling it was—particularly because, within the first 10 rounds, three of my cards had already been eliminated. With only three cards remaining on my side, I feared I wouldn't be able to secure a victory; however, the Phantom of the Abyss card breathed new life into the battle. As you can observe, friends, thanks to the opposing team missing their first two attacks, the Phantom of the Abyss card was able to launch a devastating counter-attack against them. With the help of this card, the opposing team sustained massive damage. If you look at the final round, you will see that this card delivered an exceptional performance, ultimately securing the victory for me. In fact, I would go so far as to say that I owe my win today entirely to this card; had those attacks not missed it, I certainly would not have emerged victorious. For this very reason, I have a deep fondness for the Legendary Water cards when it comes to battles. And that is how I won the battle today—an experience I have just shared with you all.

Conclusion

In Splinterlands, the most crucial aspect is deciding which cards to bring into battle, as a single card can completely turn the tide of the entire match. As you can observe in this battle, it was a specific card of mine that secured the victory. If you happen to possess a Legendary card, you should utilize it in battle, as doing so significantly increases your chances of winning.
