Buy all of the cards!!!

If only it was that easy. Unfortunately i will have to spend a lot of time and effort to buy them one at a time and rent for profit. Hopefully over time this will allow me to greatly expand my collection and build up a strong source of passive income.

I am starting off with a lot of single cards for new players to rent and then over time will be able to purchase more expensive ones with higher returns and less effort.

It takes time but the rental market is a great way of earning more crypto and in game assets for splinterlands.

My starting point on the 01/11/21:

• Cards listed - 1863 DEC
• Cards rented - 1670 DEC
• Return on rentals - 37.08%

My last update was:

• Cards listed - 2323 DEC
• Cards rented - 1055 DEC
• Return on rentals - 26.10%

My current point is:

• Cards listed - 1795 DEC
• Cards rented - 1636 DEC
• Return on rentals - 27.02%

The one thing that I forgot to put was the market value of the deck as it grows over time. This is important to see how the overall value is being effected by compounding my earnings for even more cards.

Starting deck value:

$ 15,201 using Market Prices

Rental status.

Ouch. Those chaos cards have really made a mess of the rental market for me. To be fair, it was always going to happen. Dropping millions of extra cards onto the market would always effect the rental prices and it is only temporary until we settle and more players join the game.

My deck price hasn't been effected too badly and i made a some profit while the going was good. Now i just reed to reprice a lot of the cards and start again.

Summary.

We are going to enter a few months of uncertainty with 15 million chaos packs about to hit the game soon.

I know that i will be buying and so will everybody else. That will cause a lot of the older cards to lose value in the short term as people try to balance their decks with all of the new options.

Some people are complaining but the prices were over inflated. Especially the untamed ones as supply dried up. In time they will get there again as they are no longer in print so for me this is an opportunity.

A last chance to buy some of the beta cards when they drop in price as there will never be any more of them.

Mischievous mermaid is still my favorite card to buy and is a steal at $50. Their supply is small and someday i will be able to control the price myself if i keep soaking it up.
