This is a quick and easy contest for any splinterlands player out there.

We currently have a top forty guild, "Saw Supremacy." which was named two years ago for links to another group in another game.

i feel that it no longer fits the group of players that we have now which has changed a lot over that time. That is why I am opening our name up for change.

It's a team effort so I want the name to be chosen by the team but I thought that it would be a good idea to get as many as possible and narrow that down to a few options for the group to vote on.

That's why I wanted to hear suggestions form the whole splinterlands community and see what you have to offer us.

If you can come up with something unique and interesting then i will make a short list of my favorite ones and put them to our team.

If your name is chosen as our new name going forward then i will send the winner a rare gold foil card.

Suggestions should be unique.

  • Funny.
  • Interesting.
  • Scary.
  • Political.
  • Different.

For me personally I like names that other teams will recognize sitting above them in the rankings. That is my main criteria to make the shortlist.

Something that is recognizable and that will stand out from the crowd.

If no names are selected from this post as the winner I will still pass on the card to may favorite option.

Can we throw out a bunch of suggestions or just one for the sake of the contest? I find guild naming isn't really that objective so it's hard to do from the outside. You want it to fit the brand identity and nature of the group and it's kind of an NP problem where its hard to know the answer offhand but once you read it it has a nice ring to it and you just know it fits. I think the best way to do this is to just throw out a few suggestions so you can get something that matches the "Je ne sais quoi"

Throw me a few if you have them.

I'll only take one if it fits the profile of the guild and catches my attention.

It's like anything else in life. I'll know when i see it.

This is like naming a band. It seems like a simple task until you try it. Then, the mind goes blank and you end up in a shed staring at a can of paint and your band becomes known as Beaver Brown. I'll sleep on it and see what inspiration comes.

That's exactly the problem.
It seems easy in theory but hard to sit down and just make one that fits.

Hopefully between everybody i will see some interesting ideas and go from there.

Do you have a splinterlands account and what is the name for it?

I won't be using any of the names from the post but "Itchy Pythons" was my favourite attempt so I'll send you on a card anyway.
