GARGOYA SCRAPPER

This is one of those handy little one mana cards. Not worth the money to keep in your deck but every once in a while it can win a match for you.

Two melee with a low health rating and a void magic it's most useful in matches where all cards have max health.

It took me along time to actually use it in a battle so the card is going straight back on the rental market after this one.

I pretty much just put it in my line up for the sake of this post but enginewitty won't thank me for it as i got a dirty win out of it with ym daily focus.

The Battle.

The ruleset for this battle was:

Slowest monsters

No neutrals.

24 Mana.

Starting line-up

image.png

I pretty much just built this team for the post but i could see that he was using a lot of magic in the past five battles and that he was on a death focus.

I put the scraper in tank position and a healer at the back.

First kill..

image.png

First kill went to me when my cave slug took out his cannon fodder zero mana piece. Cave slug is always great in these go slow battles with opportunity and scavenge. It only gets stronger over the match.

It made the kill with my first move of the game and gained a life point.

My scraper went with his second attack of the game. This was never going to be a long battle.

Round three.

image.png

By round three there are half the monster gone and it looks like anybody's game.

My cave slug is looking strong but they have a lot of magic sitting on the field.

Luckily i have poisoned another monster and this will finish it off in the next round.

This was the biggest difference and if that attack hadn't hit then i would probably have lost the game.

Finishing line-up.

image.png

Round four starts with only four monsters left and on the home stretch now.

It all going to finish up with the next round of attacks.

I did finish strong with two monsters left on the field but there wasn't much in the difference and my scrapper didn't last any length. I really wouldn't have bothered with it except that it's getting late and i wanted to finish this challenge.

Try for yourself.

If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.

I don't think I've ever actually used one in battle. But, I play so low in bronze I haven't really caught onto to the new rewards. I will probably get no chests this season lol. I imagine I will get caught up in the game again and start playing hardcore.

It's a fairly shit card over all.
I have never used it before and won't be using it again.

It doesn't matter what level your at.

lol. That's good to know. I think I will buy some of the cards I use in bronze the most.

I have used it a few times but I do think the use case for this card is very limited. The stats themselves just doesn't look that great and I generally use it to fill up my team with fillers.
