Dragons. Kings of the splinterlands.

For this weeks share your battle post the team has chosen my favorite splinter.

Some people are all about fire in the higher ranks but i'm all about those dragons.

I have a few options from my dragon summoners with a maxed out Daria, Drake and level 8 Delwyn. Shield, melee or magic options that i can spread across all of the other splinters. It's the way to go for most battles and gives the widest range of options.

I mean, just look at all of those sexy options on top of all the other ones in the original splinter.

That is why it is my splinter of choice and I will show how well it worked in my latest battle.

The Battle.

The ruleset for this battle was:

Reverse speed.
Earthquake.

Mana 20 for this battle with earth, death and dragon the options to play with.

I went with A maxed "Drake." Gold of course as which is one of my favorite cards to play and my most used summoner of them all. It just gives so many options and i love a summoner that can effect every card on my team compared to some that only increase half like a plus 1 melee.

Starting line-up

I'm fairly sure that this is bot as no real human player is going to be so stupid.

The have the usual legendary summoner with a strong ranged lineup but no flying monster in an earthquake ruleset. Not ideal to say the least.

I can't be sure until the battle plays out but seeing the teams here now has my about 90% sure of the win.

First kill..

First kill went to the opponent but my zero mana chicken which was just cannon fodder to their big guns and meant to buy me time. Never was a mana point if possible and use it to take the first hit from what is usually their most powerful monster.

Round three.

This battle won't be long with the low mana cards and earthquake rules so when they lost their strongest card at the end of the last round it spelled game over.

Their bot strategy is to have flesh golem take the hits with double heal and let the plus one ranged do all of the damage. In most rulesets this would have worked but since they didn't account for the extra two damage every round where i took none means that it turned into a simple win in the end for me.

I still had two of my five monsters left at the end with full health so it ended up as a comfortable victory.

The main take away form this battle is that when there is an earthquake ruleset. Play flying monsters.

It's really that simple and is vital to win the match. Two hits points per round is very hard to get past, especially in a low mana battle like this one.

If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.
