The Splinterlands circle of value.

Splinterlands is printing crypto at the moment.

Yay!!!

Vouchers are back.

Free money for all the splinterlands players or a chance to get the latest packs now if that's your choice.

For me there isn't even a question about it.
Splinterlands are going to give me 20 vouchers every day this month and with a sale price of $8 that is worth 40 free packs in just 30 days instead of allowing me to buy 20 today which will cost me an additional $80.

So next month I will have $160 from the vouchers for every day this month. That is $4800 if prices hold the level to buy 1200 packs for free and then another 120 free bonus packs if i can hold out another week and save up extra vouchers.

How is there a choice?

If i used them to buy packs that would allow me to buy 600 packs this month, leaving behind $4,800 plus the $2,400 needed to buy those packs.

So i would get 600 packs for $2,400 or 1200 for free???

Rough math's just to make my point.

So sell the vouchers, buy the packs??

Nope, not even close.

I don't want to hold that money in Hive as it could half at any time. Or double but the markets are volatile right now.

So i'll try to maximize my value and buy DEC with the funds.

DEC has dropped about 30% from it's steady price of 0.1c from the past few months. At the moment it's sitting on 0.07C and with SPS having another 230 days to go I can't see it dropping much more and has a strong possibility of rising back up to 1c soon.

DEC gives a large amount of collection points and this will give you more SPS daily just by holding it.

So my free vouchers will buy, free DEC that will earn me even more free SPS.

I'll stake these and get even more vouchers????

What kind of madness is this....

SPS - Vouchers - DEC - SPS.

Then when we hit the general sale I will buy a heap of credits and hopefully buy 1000 packs with this free DEC. Rent those cards out and earn more DEC every day.

The splinterlands economy is the gift that keeps on giving.

The two biggest risks to the plan are if the price of DEC drops significantly in the next month. I think this is a low probability.

The new packs sell out before i have a chance to buy them or before i can get enough vouchers for bonus packs.

I think that the packs will be gone in a week but i will be ready day one for the first purchase and then hopefully get to go again before the week is over.

Fun times ahead.

Great point. I was explaining Splinterlands economy to my friends like this: I invested 1000 USD and then the game just gave me 1000 USD through SPS token. And then SPS token gave me 200 USD simply because I staked that token through Vouchers.

They still don't believe me. Good days. Great article.

It's a money making machine at the moment.
When a lot of the other games go to the wall next year it will be great to have our money in splinterlands that we know isn't going anywhere.

They have the funds to keep going for a few more years at least and the team to drive ot forwards into the land expansion and further.
SPS is going to be very valuable in years to come if they keep going down this path.

They had all kinds of problems, from scaling to bugs and so on. It is really amazing what they achieved in the last 6 months. Once they focus on cosmetics I can see huge growth. If a game like Hearthstone managed to stick around for a few years, imagine what is a limit for Splinterlands.

I like the VOUCHERS but I am getting a bit confused about the general sale (after this one). I know VOUCHERS will be used for bonus packs but I wonder if there will be limits if we don't use VOUCHER so I am holding onto mine for now.

When we hit the general sale you can buy as many packs as you can afford.
If you want the free packs that come from bulk purchases then it will be one per voucher.

The exponential economy. Everything you have gives you more which gives you more which gives you more. It's a fantastic system until the inevitable happens. If you let a system like that run unchecked, a person with a slight lead in assets will stack onto that slight lead until they are so far ahead they will own everything worth owning in the economy.

I'm loving this too but I think they need to consider where this heads if they keep stacking leads on top of leads.

Oh, I'm doing the same thing btw. Selling these vouchers to buy more packs later or maybe some land. My one plot feels very lonely.

One plot is a very lonely number. After i get my hands on some chaos packs then it's time to start buying up more plots. I was lucky enough to get some in the first round of sale but only a few.

There is a core group of players that take the majority of profits form the game. It would be hard to catch up to them now without putting a lot of money into the game and they have diamond hands. It's good in one way that they wont tank the prices but its hard for players to rise up the ranks when there is ceiling on growth.
