Time to start on my Riftwatchers collection.

Chaos legion is almost completed.

But I have bought everything that I wanted to for now from the core set.

  • All Common
  • All Rare
  • All Epic.
  • Legendary excluding (Summoners, 0 mana cards.)

I might circle back to the summoners at some stage as they really aren't that expensive right now costing between $150 - $250 for maxed versions.
Zero mana i have a 1 bcx of each but there is no real value in maxing them compared to the cost of it. A level one does almost the same thing.

But this is splinterlands, so it never ends. In time I will try to work backwards and fill out Untamed and Beta but a lot of those prices are out of my range for now without selling off my other rental cards or land which i'm quite attached to.

Over time i will try to stack them up one by one when funds build up again.

So for now I will try to max out the riftwatchers collection and strengthen my modern deck. Rewards will be the same but nothing i can do about that except to keep battling away for rewards.

Unfortunately I'm starting from close to zero on this set and while i did pick up a few cards this week it's going to take some time and money as these cards don't come cheap.

I've build a nice little excel sheet to track each edition as i focus on it. It's handy to track cards across multiple accounts and rentals.

Another brilliant tool for filling out your deck is the missing base card buyer on Splex.gg

Brilliant for buying cards, especially at set levels.

I have by account set at Diamond cards and you can see from the picture that @niallon11 has 4/29 riftwatchers cards.

I'm missing 5,276 bcx to fill it out and it will cost $3,203.07 to complete the set. Even better than that there is a buy all button that if i had the funds could click it and complete the set in less than one minute.

The cashback isn't as good as monster market but the ease of use is amazing. IT's going to take a while to fill out the full riftwatchers collection but now is the time to start while cards are still for sale and hopefully dropping in price.

There are lots of decisions to make going forward with land as well so this is going to turn into a very interesting year for the game i think.

If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.

I went the other way with Chaos - made sure I maxed the Legendary summoners first, just need another 5 Lillys.

I had thought to go after RW now, but I need to stack around 2M DEC first for land which is kind of a spanner in the works.

When I do buy I think I'll just focus on the best cards - that Life summoner is a must, for example!
