Splinterlands Art Contest Week 211!// Water Caller

Hi, this week I made this fanart of Gwen Stormsong (Water Caller), was very fun to do, also I had some problems with the fur, I was not sure how can I could draw that part better, I hope you like it ^^.

Hola, esta semana hice este fanart de Gwen Stormsong (Water Caller), me divertí mucho haciendola, también tuve algunos problemas con el pelaje, no estaba seguro de como podría dibujar esa parte mejor, espero les guste ^^.

For this piece, I used a Genius Wizard Pen Tablet 5x4.

Para esta obra, usé una tableta Genis Wizard Pen 5x4.

My drawings are entirely drawn in Paint Tool Sai because this software have the best compatibility with my tablet.

Mis dibujos son completamente hechos en Paint Tool Sai porque este programa tiene la mejor compatibilidad con mi tableta.

First, I start drawing a sketch of her body.

Primero hago un boceto de su cuerpo.

Then, I create a new layer to make the lineart.

Entonces creo otra capa para hacer el delineado.

I apply the basic colors for the character.

Aplico los colores basicos para el personaje.

Now, I add details with my airbrush.

Ahora agrego detalles con mi aerografo.

For the effect of fur, I use the airbrush leaving some spaces so that the darker color can be seen.

Para el efecto de pelaje, uso el aerografo dejando algunos espacios para que se vea mas el color oscuro.

I repeat the same process with a clearly color.

Repito el mismo proceso con un color mas claro.

I add a shade and brights in the pupils, and her clothes.

Añado una sombra y brillos en las pupilas y su ropa.

Then, I add a luminic line in the middle and a new layer with a darker color to give a sense of depth.

Entonces añado una linea luminosa en el medio y una nueva capa con un color mas oscuro para darle sensación de profundidad.

Now, I draw some wavy lines in the water.

Ahora, dibujo algunas lineas onduladas en el agua.

A few curved lines to give a sensation of ripples in the water.

Unas linas curvas para dar la sensación de ondas en el agua.

In the background I made a gradient.

En el fondo hago un degradado.

And finally, I put color over the lineart.

Y finalmente, pongo color sobre el delineado.
