Splinterlands: EOS Reward Chests
It's true. Yet another season of Splinterlands ended this morning. I finished in Silver III and was awarded 12 chests.
I found it easier to win this season than I did last season which was very frustrating. I have gotten use to the new Chaos Legion cards and developed playing strategies for trying to stay one step ahead of the bots.
Anyway here is what I got:
I received 5 cards and 75 DEC in total.
At current market prices, in total the cards I received:
- Pelorcor Deceiver(3) 3($0.03) = $0.09
- Venari Heatsmith $0.03
- Pelacor Mercenary $0.03
DEC is currently siting at about $ 0.003 so I got about $0.23 worth of DEC.
So that totals to about 38 cents. That's close to double what I got in last seasons end of rewards.
At some point, I want to start competing at a higher level. Eventually play to earn SPS will be implemented and soon you will have a chance at getting packs from doing Quests at the Silver League and above. I've purchased a few Chaos Legion cards, however I'm waiting for prices to go lower before I buy the bulk of them. When I decide to start playing again, I will make use of the new Chaos Legion cards bought and also take the bulk of my rental cards off the market.
I don't know much about gaming these days Mr. Ninja, but I'm glad to see you having fun with it.
Somehow, I got lost in the days of Mr. Do, Donkey Kong and Ms Pacman...

I've never even heard of Mr Do. I started playing in the days of Mario and Zelda at around 7 years old.
The blockchain has the potential to revolutionize gaming. It provides the ability to earn or collect assets that are really yours and can be traded for any other crypto. People especially in 3rd world countries have been able to make a decent income off of blockchain gaming.
Haha... It may have been spelled differently, like Doo or something like that? It was an Arcade game like PacMan in those early days, not very long after Pong😎 I was already an adult when these came out...
I've got younger relatives who play-for-pay online and very little else... They seem happy enough, so I'm happy for them.
Stay well, my friend... I had Gem pop into my thoughts today for some reason...??? Might be because my friend Mr. Reddy came through my pet door again after a year and a half or so. He's been staying in my back (mud-room) sleeping - rarely going outside; looking old and tired. Has the sniffles too...might be his end days? I'll take care of him as best I can.
That's so cool hearing that Gem popped into your mind. I remember Mr. Reddy from your older posts. I didn't know that he disappeared for a time. At least now he has a warm home to stay in.
Yeah... he sort of just vanished quite awhile ago. I'd see him (or what I thought was him) at first about a block or two away a few times, but then - not at all. I thought he was dead.
