RUNEMANCER FLORRE

Happy New Year everyone! How are you I hope we are all doing well. I have been drawing for a long time because I want to get a semi-realistic approach to what I will draw in the upcoming Splinterlands Art Contest Week 276! My chosen one to draw is RUNEMANCER FLORRE. Of course, I need a good reference so that it can be drawn properly and attractively. I searched Google for a good image of a woman and made it as a reference click 👈. And I also watched on YouTube various tutorials for line art, coloring, and background. Come and read how I made my fun art for this week.

After I chose the best reference to use in my art, I started with line art. I used ibispaintx's dip hard pen for the line art because the first layer was messy so I added another layer and drew again to make the line art clean. After cleaning up the line art, I started coloring but I put the skin tone first because for me it's the easiest before applying the base color to the clothes, hair, and accessories. Detailing the nose, lips, and eyes is followed if done because it requires patience. New Multiply layer for soft and hard shadows (ooh there's something like that isn't it haha😂 I just watched that). Then color dodge for the lights.

Next is the hair, the process is similar to the skin color but it took me a while because I changed the color several times to find the right color and blend it. Then I did the strands of hair one by one. Haha, and I finally achieved semi-realistic hair. After the good outcome of the hair. I followed the clothes, hands, and accessories, multiply layers for the shadow, and color dodge for the light area. Of course, the airbrush will never go out of style for art detailing. I also adjusted the color to make it look semi-realistic.

For the background, I used blur brushes to make the back of my drawing look like a shadow and just focus on RUNEMANCER FLORRE. That's all and thank you very much for reading the process I shared. I hope you like the outcome of my fun art. To this day I'm still learning and looking for an art style that suits me. I hope you can give me some advice. Thank you for everything.
