POSSIBILUS THE WISE VS. OBSIDIAN
Hi guys! Today I'm gonna share a battle in which I used one of the new summoners in chaos edition, Possibilus the Wise.

POSSIBILUS THE WISE VS. OBSIDIAN
THE BATTLE RULESET
The battle requires 40 mana and only two elements can be used, Water and Life.
UNPROTECTED - This rule means that monsters do not have any armor and do not get armor from abilities or summoner buffs. Protect, Piercing, Repair, Rust are useless. The key to win in this rule is to focus on a tank with high health and heal.
EARTHQUAKE - In this rule, monsters without flying ability take 2 melee damage at the end of each round. The trick to this rule is to use monsters with Flying or Healing ability, another trick is to choose monsters that have high HP and high damage. Don't keep heal units up front. Shield plays a very important role in this ruleset. Monsters with Flying ability should be in the last positions when Earthquake has done enough damage to both sides.
MY LINE UP
POSITION | CARD NAME |
---|---|
Summoner | POSSIBILUS THE WISE |
1st line | BAAKJIRA |
2nd line | FLYING SQUID |
3rd line | DEEPLURKER |
4th line | SUPPLY RUNNER |
5th line | ANGELIC MANDARIN |
6th line | PELACOR BANDIT |
My chosen summoner is a legendary card from chaos edition that adds 2 hp to its team monsters. It also gives a trample ability at the start of the battle, when a monster with this ability hits and kills its target, it will perform another attack on the next Monster on the enemy team.
Reach ability is also given to monsters in the team, which enables melee attack monsters to attack from the second position on the team.
My tank in this battle is Baakjira, a legendary card from chaos edition with no attack but acts as a great tank because of its abilities. Level 3 of this card used in this battle includes abilities such as void, slow, strengthen, and heal.
Void - reduces damage from magic attacks.
Slow - reduces the Speed of all enemy Monsters.
Strengthen - adds hp to its teammates.
Heal - restores a portion of the monster's health each round
Second row is a common card also from chaos edition with a melee attack, 9 hp and 5 speed at level 8. It has also reach and blind ability(All enemy Melee & Ranged attacks have an increased chance of missing their target.)
My third chosen monster is the unbeatable Deeplurker. At level 8, it has the opportunity ability which enables it to attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health. Another ability is poison, this monster's attacks have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied. The Poison ability is triggered 50% of the time. Poison does damage at the end of the turn and is not affected by shield or void.
Supply runner is a neutral ranged attack monster from the chaos legion with swiftness ability at level 8. It adds speed to its teammates. I positioned it in the third row because of its high-range attack damage.
Another range attack monster with Triage ability at level 6. It heals the friendly back-line Monster that has taken the most damage.
Last in line is a flying monster from the reward edition. This card at level 8 has flying and sneak abilities.
THE OPPONENT'S LINE UP
The opponent used a magic element using summoner obsidian that adds 1 magic attack to its teammates with the same attack. His 1st and second chosen monsters have flying abilities. Most of its lineup has the magic attack.
THE BATTLE
The first attack came from Pelacor Bandit followed by Deeplurker targeting Mycelic Slipspawn. But the enemy take revenge by by attacking my team's tank, Baakjira.
Angelic mandarin killed Mycelic Slipspawn in round 2 with its range attack. Deeplurker also killed Spirit Hoarder with its melee attack plus poison. It was not a good ground for my team since Baakjira left the game aas it was attacked by the opponent's tank, Nectar Queen.
As the game goes on, Pelacor Bandit attacked and killed the tank healer of the opponent, Goblin psychic. This round was also saying goodbye to our Flying Squid as it was killed by a magic attack from Regal Peryton and a melee attack from Nectar Queen. Deeplurker was also killed in this round.
Queen Mycelia, Supply runner, and Angelic Mandarin did not make it till the last round.
Pelacor Bandit managed to kill Regal Peryton which made my team win over the opponent. It's a victory for Possibilus the wise!
MY STRATEGY IN THIS BATTLE
My strategy in this battle is that I choose a summoner that adds 2 HP to each monster in its team. Since it is a high mana battle, I picked high mana monsters with high hp and high speed. I chose monsters with healing and flying abilities which is suitable for the earthquake rule and since the other rule is to remove the armor of the monsters, my strategy in using high hp monsters worked well in this battle.
Thanks for sharing! - @yonilkar
A wise card you used wisely.
