Hi guys! Here's my entry for Splinterlands Share your Battle Weekly Challenge with the THEME: CRUEL SETHROPOD.

Cruel Sethropod is a common card from Chaos Legion edition with melee attack. Though this card has no added ability, it is a good choice as a tank for low mana cost battles because it has 3 shield and 4 life. Let's see if Cruel Sethropod can defend his team for this battle. . .

THE LORE : "CRUEL SETHROPOD"

Sailors tell many tales of the dangers of the Cruel Sethropods. Armed with strong pincers and teeth as sharp as spears, they attack anything that gets within range. It is nearly impossible to remove a Cruel Sethropod once it has latched on, and many a sailor has the scars to show where they ventured too close.
“And I ventured round to yon starboard side, scrubbing the barnacles and what have ye off the hull,” the old sailor said. He had gray hair and a long, grizzly beard and wore tattered leather breeches and a shirt that might have been white once but had faded to a dull color that was somewhere between gray and brown.

Summoner: KELYA FRENDUL

One of the most used and powerful summoner as it adds shield and to its team monster. Perfectly fit with cruel sethropod for an added shield as a tank of the team.

1st line: CRUEL SETHROPOD

As seen from the battle, our featured card showed off that it can protect its team until the end. I think merdaali guardian and scavo hireling has a great contribution why cruel sethropod became unbeatable on the game.

2nd line: ALBATROSS

A card which is also one of my favorite since it only costs 1 mana. It has a flying ability which enables it evade melee and ranged attacks who didn't have flying ability.

3rd line: MERDAALI GUARDIAN

A card with a tank heal ability. It really helped cruel sethropod since the beginning of the game. Each round, it restores a portion of cruel sethropod's health.

4th line: SCAVO HIRELING

A common neutral card which has the ability to restore the armor of its team member who has taken the most damage, in this game, it is cruel sethropod. That's why every round, cruel sethropod restores its health and shield.

Last position: DEEPLURKER

The great deeplurker positioned in the last line. It is a good card which can be positioned on any line because of its opportunity ability which enables it to attack from any postion and targets the enemy with lowest health.

It was a good fight for Cruel Sethropod's team. The exciting part is that, Cruel Sethropod restores its health and shield at each round. Seems like it stood out as unbeatable in this battle. Card position in this battle really worked well and my combination did a great job. What I love about cruel sethropod is that, even though it doesn't have the ability like any other great cards, it can be a great tank for low mana cost battles, you just have to pick the right monsters to collaborate with cruel sethropod.
