ABOUT MY LINE UP

THE SUMMONER: MOTHER KHALA - an old but gold life summoner with 3 mana cost adding 1 life to it's team monsters. Perfect combination with Time Mage which is also a life monster.

FIRST POSITION: CHAOS KNIGHT - a 6 mana monster which is a good tank. It has a shield ability that reduces damage from melee and ranged attacks.

SECOND POSITION: GARGOYA SCRAPPER - a 1 mana monster, with void ability on level 3 which reduces damage from magic attacks.

THIRD POSITION: CELESTIAL HARPY - one of the great cards from chaos legion, a 2 mana monster with flying and opportunity ability. It has an increased chance of avoiding melee or ranged attacks from monsters who do not have flying ability. It can also attack from any position and will target the enemy monster with lowest health.

FOURTH POSITION: TIME MAGE - this battle's featured card, also one of the best cards from chaos edition which cost only 4 mana. It has an ability to reduce the speed of all its enemy monsters. It also has a magic attack and 4 speed.

FIFTH POSITION: CHAOS AGENT - neutral monster from chaos legion with only 1 mana and has 2 speed.

MY STRATEGY

I used element life since the battle requires only 17 mana and Mother Khala, the summoner costs only 3 mana. For this battle, i choose monsters with low mana cap. I positioned a good tank on the first line which is Chaos Knight. This card is a strong shield which protects the team until the end. Unfortunately, it was knocked down during round 4 but Time Mage managed to defend the team by it's magic attack. Since the first round, we can see from the battle that Time Mage showed off it's ability until the last round.
