A Perfect Battle - No monsters lost

My battle of the week

I am going to try to post one splinterlands battle per week, and this week I have chosen a battle that I needed to complete for my quest (water quest).

This battle is sweet because I didn't lose one of my 6 monsters, and I annihilated theirs.

The battle

This battle I needed to use Water to complete my daily quest, and my water deck is very strong on magic, so the no melee monsters ruleset suited me a lot.

This also had true shot ruleset which means you can't miss, so I decided to rest my phantom of the abyss, as its main advantage is flying and dodge, which is useless i this match.

how did it play out

Round two

as you can see by round two, I managed to neutralize their most powerful monster that does 3 ranged attack, but with double hit. I actually managed to get that monster in first position so it cant attack before it had a chance to attack. This was probably a strategic blunder by the opponent, I probably would have put this one in 4th position not 3rd.

Round 3

So I was just mopping up by round 3, and didn't lose a single monster.

suggestion for the splinterlands team

If you win with six monsters and don't lose any, I think there should be a DEC bonus. If you only have 1 monster and don't lose any that's not as challenging as keeping all six so it doesn't deserve as much DEC. Perhaps if you don't lose a monster, your DEC bonus depends on how many monsters you started with, i.e. if you started with 1 monster, 10% bonus, if you started with 6 monsters, 60% bonus.

Perhaps when SPS governance comes online I will suggest this.

This was a very satisfying win. I haven’t used Oshianous for a while. I had forgotten how formidable the combination of void shield, extra shield and a double attack from Acemaster can be..

Regarding the Dec Bonus…

If you win with six monsters and don't lose any, I think there should be a DEC bonus. If you only have 1 monster and don't lose any that's not as challenging as keeping all six so it doesn't deserve as much DEC. Perhaps if you don't lose a monster, your DEC bonus depends on how many monsters you started with, i.e. if you started with 1 monster, 10% bonus, if you started with 6 monsters, 60% bonus.

Thus Dec Bonus would definitely add some excitement to the game, and would be great during a downturn!:
